Eddie Levert Senior recently lost his son, SOUL R& B crooner Gerald Levert. They had just recorded an album and new book, “I Got Your Back” that became a national bestseller. Now another one of his son’s , the youngest Levert, was recently jailed for failing to pay 80,000 in back child support payments to the mother of his child who fought tirelessly to recover excessive funds from Sean Levert. The music community and fans alike are shocked and disheartened.

Perjury is punishable by 10 to 15 years in prison. All came to light when a security unit claimed they covered up extramarital affairs of the married mayor with two children. Kilpatrick is confident he will be vindicated of all charges and refuses to leave office. From Clinton to Spitzer and Patterson to Kilpatrick. WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW! Politics is heading for a TKO! Who will be 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. Human’s are out of control.

#6-Uh oh! Remember when we asked who is Remy Ma since we haven’t seen her around lately? Well, the young hip hop princess has been fighting for her life in courts for supposedly loading and pulling the trigger and firing at Makeda Barnes claimed to have attempted to steal her money for a bag. The Hip Hop community has not even stepped up to save their princess. TRAITORS! Everyone has been solemn instead of raiding the courts in protest to prevent this creative and talented women’s rise and fall from fame to self-desruction. With record companies hoarding artists with fake credit, and not real money which artists realize they have to work beyond talent to survice before the royalties kick in, it is evident that artists fight, cuss, and risk their life for chump change because they don’t have much until they get over that hump. It’s obvious or blame the mentality of the HIP HOP COMMUNITY which many believe fuels violence. Everything moves fast like lightning. Most artists break because their egos get blown up. Now she may have to face the slammer and really had a bright future. The song, I’m Conceited, was like an underground cult classic just for the ladies of hip hop. Money is the root of all HIP HOP evil.
#5- Reverend Jeremiah Wright stole 15 minutes of fame from Obama and is now more famous than any other pastor right now by default. The message I learned from his speech was, put a stake in your brother’s heart and win. There are going to be heavy reprecussions for this profoun d mistake. Already God has made the biggest glacier cap in Antartica break off 15 years before predicted. The last sin is when a black man betrays another black man. I’m just speaking the conscious of the people. Everyone loves Pastor Wright and is at home still laughing and in disbelief because if Obama was able to handle that than he can handle CAIN, who folks are saying is living vicariously as a scorned P.O.W. who may be the prez to puch the button. Folks have to stop thinking that because someone is experienced, they are smarter, someone is richer, they will give to the poor and because someone has gone to war, they are going to avoid war. Like credentials, breed like catastrophes, You’ve been in a war, you’re going to bring on war. You’ve been around peace, you’re going to bring peace. Obama has to be strong and not let NEGATIVITY destroy his shine! It’s time for a new generation to come along and fight for a new tomorrow.
#4- Hillary Rodham Clinton was a courageous woman to run for presidency of the United States. The Black community does admire her strength and tenacity to endure all she has been through, but her extensive campaigning from city to city has put a toll on her physically, mentally, socially and cognitively. We all know she’s a smart woman, caring and probably could bear the humanity side of politics by giving a caring hand where America needs it most and that is a strong bolster in the educational system, but she has made too many mistakes and today, she reached the last mistake by refusing to give up her bid prolonging a dragging a Democratic feud while Cain now polishes his image with old war stories evoking fear among Americans. If a Democrat doesn’t win the November primaries, America loses, period. Folks haven’t been doing their homework. They have been focusing on issues that don’t matter. If America’s budget isn’t fixed, recession is here like a silent plague no one ever saw coming because if the poor aren’t nurtured, crime takes over right in wealthy folk’s back yards. Thse urban youth want change and jobs now. Crime is increasing and getting out of hand in urban cities. Yoiu can’t lock up all troubled youth and throw away the key, or maybe America can since life sentences for youth are now in effect for committing serious crimes in some states. I am afraid the Democrats won’t have much time to address any issues before the November primaries and may forfit a bid at all for the White House.

Rick Fox , a basketball coach is your save-all wanna-be hero designed to help Brenda’s son, Michael (Played by Lance Gross) get a lucrative career, and all while she fighting her ex. There’s comedy on overload with Tyler’s clever antics such as a surprise appearance by MADEA and you just know the movie, MADEA GOES TO JAIL is coming soon. Tyler is the bomb, in charge of Hollywood and not slowing down. 2008 NEW YORK BOOK FESTIVAL – FIRST VENDOR DEADLINENEW YORK (March 26, 2008) _ The 2008 New York Book Festival’s next vendor deadline arrives on April 15, 2008 for its annual program celebrating books that deserve greater recognition from the world?s publishing capital.
Last year, over 20,000 attendees enjoyed the beauty and serenity of Manhattan?s Central Park as they browsed books, listened to music and author readings and enjoyed our food vendors. This year, the day festival will offer expanded stages and new opportunities for authors, publishers, musicians and vendors. Please e-mail NewYorkBookFest@aol.com for an application.
The 2008 New York Book Festival will consider published, self-published and independent publisher non-fiction, fiction, children?s books, teenage, how-to, audio/spoken word, comics/?zines, e-books, poetry, wild card (anything goes!), unpublished stories, science fiction, horror, photography/art, romance and biography/autobiography works.
A panel of judges will determine the winners based on the following criteria:
1) The story-telling ability of the author.
2) The potential of the work to win wider recognition.
Entries can be in German, Portuguese, English, Spanish, French or Italian and must be published on or after January 1, 2000. Our grand prize for the 2008 New York Book Festival Author of the Year is $1500 and a flight to New York for the awards and our day festival in Central Park.

There is no way in heaven Hillary could have believed her own lie of attending the middle east and ducking low to dodge fire. It is obvious now, that she has been on the Democratic bid to diffuse votes away from Barack Obama. She had to know the press from her attendance to the middle east would creep back to bite her in her leg amd just to keep things g-rated here. If this isn’t self sabotage than I don’t know what is. The republicans are obviously working with Hillary’s side and it really doesn’t matter which side wins just as long as Barack doesn’t win. Just look at how many turn coats have now joined Obama suddenly or are they friendly supporters? It’s hard to tell. Obama shouldn’t trust anyone affiliated with anyone political to put it bluntly. He may want to join forces with an anchor woman who kn ows news and place her in the bid for vice presidency in my opnion. Most newscasters are trustworthy and honest. Their jobs would be on the line. All in all, when a political leader turns away from his original party affiliate to side with a black man, that must a decoy trying to infiltrate the Obama base. I’m not saying Richardson is a turn coat. He seems like a nice man, but he was a Clinton supporter. Hmmmm as Arsenio Hall would say when a toddler. LOL. Desperation is growing because no one ever thought Barack would get this far and beat the electorate system. Darn it, the HILL with a BUSH on it were part of the same scenery all along? And is America the butt of a political joke. How do you make up a story about ducking from arms way and no weapons were ever present in the town Hillary visited and not only pleasant, but there was a follw-up music performance and welcome ceremony? Let me throw on a 50 Cent song right and just let this on e go. I think Hillary might as well be a movie star. She’s becoming a rock star right before America’s eyes. And Pastor Wrights comments were takin g all out of context. He was taking in third person like most preacher’s do and reflecting on the collective conscious, but it sure did sound bad to those who don’t get it.

Insight: According to the New York Times, a law is being pushed to ban the practice by Richard L. Brosky. Phorm tracks every single online action based on customer’s Internet Service Provider and may be negotiating deals with AT& T, Verizon and Comacast. This means Big Brother is watching and for you cyber babies who don’t know who that is, read George Orwell’s classic, 1984 and get educated. After all, EZPASS and your Blackberry already makes you accessible when Big Brother wants to find you, but don’t be alarmed. If you happen to wind up lost, maybe someone can find you. I just wonder of Timothy Berners Lee, who created the World Wide Web knew he was creating a monster. Be careful where you travel online and do watch for sites that alllow third party clicks which Phorm can’t decipher and so you look like a direct user who is innocent of just visiting a stupid site with all of those spyware, phishing and automated banners that track you better. Luckily, you are just a number in the system and no, your name and personal info doesn’t pop up, but it’s all just a nuisance like all of those cameras they are installing around New York since the World Trade Center. If you are a cheater, you could get caught up in a high tech probe if street camera footage can be subpoenaed for court hearings.

8. Singer Mario wipes his brow with dancing partner’s outfit on Dancing With the Stars.How Charming!
INSIGHT: Mario is a natural dancer and did a great job on Dancing With the Stars, but got slack from one of the judges for being too stocky, but that sleevless tuxedo was a stunner. I almost forgot the kid could sing. Add a charming personality and a star is born. He clearly received the top votes from all of the dancers. My suggestion is that Mario, only 21, seem less anxious and acknowledge the presence of his partner. It was almost as if he was awaiting results on just his dancing. He will need to pay hommage to his dance instructor a bit, and most of all apologize for wiping his brow on her outfit. While charming and quite funny, it may leave an image of chauvinism. He’s young, so I am sure he didn’t mean it. 21 year old men have the quick and indecisive thinking. Go light with humor media. He’s a kid and a sweety.

THE BLACK LIBRARY was founded in 1993 by Kevin L. Fisher & Lloyd E. Hart, Jr (Click Boston Sunday Globe Article). This organization evolved out of our interest and love of reading, particularly African American literature. Locally we found a lack of supply and variety of such literature. Therefore, we started gathering African American literature form sources in and outside the greater Boston area. We soon amassed a sizable inventory and were able to serve our friends and associates in the (Black) community. This naturally evolved into what is now THE BLACK LIBRARY BOOKSELLERS. Eliot Spitzer steps down as a disgraced governor and Patterson steps in as the first black governor of New York, but there may not be any time to celebrate. New York faces the biggest budget deadline in its history. Without a budget, the city looms with a possible recession. Patterson says he is embraces his disability as a legally blind citizen and New York has embraced it as well. He may very well be the man to get New York back on track. It’s about time people see beyond disabilities of individuals and let the best man do the job. No pun intended toward Hillary Clinton at all.
Halle Berry gave birth to a girl on Sunday, March 16, 2008, with Model and actor Gabriel Aubry who met while filming a Versace ad. Halle Berry first appeared on a Different World sitcom and then got a feature role as a very convincing crack head in a Spike Lee movie of which she admits she didn’t bathe for days. Her role was so great, a string of movies followed pursuit like Strictly Business catapulting her to superstar status overnight along with a B rated movie with Bruce Willis as a call girl.
She also, appeared in a flop called BAPS, but had won over the black audience as a trendsetter. Her short crop hairdo and knock out figure became all the rage and her bi-racial mix gave young girls from bi-racial parents self-esteem.She appeared in Monster’s Ball which was a courageous effort for her to appear nude. She won an Oscar for her role in the Dorothy Dandridge story making her one of the first black actresses to win a lead actress award since Cicely Tyson. She also, invested all of her money in that role, but look at Halle Berry today.
Surviving circumstances of past abuse at the supposed hands of a black male celebrity which left her partially death in one ear, she has been linked to men like Christopher Williams, Westley Snipes, David Justice and Eric Benet. One evening she encountered a bad accident that left a victim severely injured. Media reported she left the scene to get stitches for her head and rightfully so. Any minute longer and she could have suffered a brain hemmorage and died with the blood lost. Delirious and not in any condition to think about her actions, but just get help and presuming other troubled circumstances, the world forgave Halle Berry who tried to make a comeback with movies like Catwoman that failed miserably. However, her performance in Oprah’s Zora Neale Hurston’s movie Their Eyes Were Watching God adapted from the book, clearly showed that HALLE BERRY is one of the best actresses of our era and here to stay.
Her bouts with Diabetes make her a role model for all women young and mature. Her personality is incomparable and why Halle’ s name today symbolizes beauty. With no efforts to marry the father of her child whom she shares a spiritual bond with, Halle redefines the family nucleus with an equation that spells JOY!

Rose was a successful Record Producer, Record Company Owner, Personal manager, Music Publisher, Recording Studio Owner, Recording Engineer, Song Writer and Composer for more than fifteen years. His Solid Platinum Productions was the first African American production company to have a production deal with Virgin Records and he later held production deals with Atlantic Records and CBS (SONY) Records. In 1983, albums produced by Rose shared the charts with Michael Jackson’s Thriller for six consecutive months in the number one, two and three positions throughout the world and his legendary “Prince Charles and the City Beat Band” albums and singles have accounted for more than four million in sales worldwide. Rose’s many music awards include “Gold” and “Platinum” Albums and “Ampex Golden Reel” Awards for recording and engineering New Kids on the Block. In 1995, Rose sold his music business to Unidisc Productions in Montreal and EMI Music Publishing in the United Kingdom and invested a portion of his earnings to launch Amber Books Publishing, later Amber Communications Group, Inc. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 10, 1985,
Raven-Symone’ Christina Pearman moved with her family to New York City
while still a toddler. By the age of two she had already been signed
by the Ford Modeling Agency, and she soon started doing TV ads for
everything from Cool Whip to Fisher Price toys to Ritz crackers to
Jello. Not long thereafter she would join Jello pitchman Bill Cosby on his
popular, Emmy-winning sitcom, worming her way into America’s heart as
adorable Olivia. She subsequently appeared on such series as The Fresh
Prince, Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper, My Wife and Kids and The Cheetah Girls
before landing her own show on the Disney Channel, That’s So Raven.
She made her big screen debut in 1994 as Stymie’s
girlfriend in The Little Rascals, followed by well-received
performances in Dr. Dolittle 1 & 2 and The Princess Diaries 2. Singing
since she was 4, Raven has also enjoyed quite a musical career,
releasing her first CD, Here’s to New Dreams, in 1993. And she is
currently working on her fourth album which is scheduled to drop
sometime this Spring.
Among her many accolades are seven NAACP Image Awards,
including a couple just this year for That’s So Raven. The former child
star deserves to be commended for avoiding the host of woes which have
befallen so many of her kiddie colleagues en route to adulthood, such
as her ex-roommate Lindsay Lohan and misfit mom Britney Spears.
Here, Raven talks about her new movie, College Road Trip, a family
comedy where, opposite Martin Lawrence, she plays the teenage daughter
of an overprotective police chief.
KW: Thanks for the time, Raven.
RS: Hi!
KW: How was it working opposite Martin Lawrence?
RS: He was very professional, although he’s so funny it was often hard
to keep a straight face while shooting. But having watched and studied
him, I knew what I was getting into. I knew what I had to prepare for,
and how to react towards him.
KW: What message do you want audiences to walk away with from College
Road Trip?
RS: That family is very important. And that, yes, everybody wants to
grow up, but you have to realize that parents always think of their
kids as that little boy or girl, so you have to help them see that
you’re growing up and can handle yourself in a respectful manner.
KW: Have you mapped out a plan so that your fans who have known you as
a little girl will accept you as a woman?
RS: Of course. I think any business you go into, you should definitely
write up a plan, whether in Hollywood or in corporate America. And I
think that even as a person, you have goals to reach, and you always
want to refer back to what you want, although you can always tweak it.
But yeah, I definitely take steps to show people that I’m growing, and
hopefully they will be growing with me.
KW: What did you learn about showbiz during your formative years on the
Cosby Show?
RS: Honestly and truthfully, since I was 3 to 5 years old, I think I
learned everything subconsciously from their actions, namely,
professionalism, to always be creative, and to always enjoy yourself,
but at the same time know that this is a job, and to take it seriously
because a lot of people’s livelihoods are at stake. So, you need to be
professional.
KW: One of your fellow cast members in this film was Donny Osmond,
another former child star. What was it like working with him?
RS: I have to say he was fabulous and down-to-earth. Even though he’s
been in the business as long as he has, he’s still a real person. We
sat down and talked, and he made me laugh.
KW: Did the two of you ever discuss your both having grown up in the
industry?
RS: Yes, we definitely talked about it. We have a lot of things in
common, surprisingly. I think that’s why I enjoyed him so much, because
he knows these struggles that I go through, and because he overcame all
of them and is still working to this day. He’s the type of person who’s
cool about it when he’s spotted on the street even though he’s
bombarded by so many people. He can still live a life; and I like that
about him.
KW: You’re playing a girl about to go to college in this movie. Do you
ever wish you had gone to college in real life?
RS: Well, I still have college in my plans. I think you can go to
college at any age. It depends on the person that you are. I had a lot
of work after high school, so that wouldn’t have worked for me.
KW: When is your new CD going to be released?
RS: That’s still up in the air. They keep pushing it back. I’ve been
very busy, and I still have to do the artwork. I’ll be going on tour
from April all the way into August. I’m very proud of that, and I think
I’ll always continue to have both aspects in my life, just because it’s
a creative outlet for me.
KW: Which do you find more challenging acting or singing?
RS: How do I say this without sounding full of myself? Seeing that I’ve
don’t both for so long, they’re not all that difficult. With my music,
none of my albums really sold that much, so I need people to realize
I’m doing this because I do really love to sing, to write, and to
dance. When I perform, I don’t use a lip-synch track. I want people to
realize that I’m not joking when I do all my work.
KW: Would you describe yourself as happy?
RS: Would I describe myself as happy… Yeah… [Laughs] I’ve never gotten
that question before except from my psychiatrist.
KW: I got that question from Columbus Short.
RS: Oh, Columbus! You gotta love Columbo. He was on That’s So Raven.
Yeah, I’m happy and definitely focused, although in this industry you
go through your ups-and-downs just because not everything is going to
go your way. Everybody has their days, but overall, yeah, I’m very
happy with the way my life is going. And I’m healthy, and that should
always make you happy.
KW: Jimmy Bayan, “Realtor to the Stars,” wants to know where in Los
Angeles you live.
RS: I’m not telling nobody where I live.
KW: Can you just say what neighborhood?
RS: I live in L.A.
KW: Are you ever afraid?
RS: Yes, I’m always afraid. I’m afraid to fail.
KW: Well, I’m sure you’ll enjoy nothing but continued success. Thanks
for the interview, Raven, and good luck with this movie and all your
upcoming projects.

Janet Jackson rules supreme. She has managed to keep a great celebrity profile, supports other and maintains a genuine personality. Her albums until 20YO have progressively plummeted the singer’s mega-status to threading a needle with a piece of rope which just simply means, her albums for today’s folk are either a hit or miss. It’s all understandable. She’s trying to catch the new age of young R& B listeners while trying to maintain attention of her fans all grown up. All maturing singers have undergone this stage in their careers.
She opted for sexy, but folks felt she was trying too hard. Suddenly, she’s back to her gothic, pen-striped tailored suits and fedora hats which in my opinion she should have maintained that image, but it may all be too late or can she make a full comeback with a few more releases of some surpirse hits on her album and the production of mega-videos? Her strength is creating dance routines, but with slinky dancers these days, folks are critical. So what should Janet do to maintain her reign as the lady who started it all?
For one, she should return to her “That’s the Way Love Goes” days and style from the hair to the intricate fine details ladies love to get ideas fashion wise and men simply can’t ignore and will adore no matter what age. Janet still looks the same, but seems to be dabbling with finding her image right now and mind you, she owns them all so that’s not so bad.
Next, Janet shouldn’t entertain dance moves, but rather choreography which is her specialty. Don’t forget the scenes and skits. Take for instance her brother, Michael. Almost every record album and song told a story. This is what made Michael unique. Dialogue and a personal atmosphere is always important for videos. Those over produced videos seem silly while down to earth videos shine. Snoop’s Senusal Seduction is just simply and fly. I love it. And–not too many transitions that take folks minds off of dancing at the club. Rihanna is excelling with her down to earth video for Don’t Stop the Music. In other words, Janet may want to create videos that allow viewers to step into her shoes and not bouncing all over balls like Catwoman in the single, FEEDBACK.
I am sure Janet is already finding her way back to Janet and I have confidence she will ring out the New Year with a few surprises. You haven’t seen the best of her yet for 2008, nor the worst. With three daughters, what will they think of you mack daddy? 80,000 is a lot of money to spend for a thrill. Why not have your wife roleplay as a trick and just have fun? I say impeachment, 6 years prison for disgracing the federal government by using tax payers money and community service teaching former models how to get jobs and not become tricks. I was browsing through some publications and I came across an interview with Tyra Banks in Essence. She talks about this issue of fear. I really understand her point of view. When I was in Sylvia’s restaurant in Harlem, I saw celebrity photos on the wall, and I thought about how each person went through some kind of crisis which makes you wonder if celebrity hood is worth all of the pain and struggles. It seems like to make it, one has to endure pain, but like Trya, many folks in route to success reject negativity because we fear it.
Negativity can cause depression, self-doubt, paranoia, worthlessness and even death. Folks have to love themselves enough to not let negativity get the best of them with contrived deceit. Negativity wants to see you in pain. Negativity wants you to fail, Negativity is jealous and doesn’t care about you. Negativity even keeps company with negativity and once they have formed a pact, you better steer clear because NEGATIVITY is out to get you. That’s right, I said it and you’re not doing anything wrong.
I say embrace Negativity and continue to reveal your emotions because if not, you’ll wind up 13 feet under and negativity will live forever. Do you understand me authors? I am talking to you. I know exactly who has been getting you down. Forget those silly critics. I’m only going to say this one time.
One of Tyra’s best shows was the day she addressed Naomi Campbell. I don’t feel it’s the success that Tyra has anything to ever worry about, but it’s this day- in- day -out road through the land of negativity and other people’s actions that inflict pain and suffering onto you. Negativity is critical of you, doesn’t like anything you do and never will.
I would encourage Tyra to go on Oprah.com and develop a personal and private journal that of course, the whole staff can view to keep track of her emotions. As long as you have a pen and paper as an outlet to release emotions, you can rest your head at night knowing that at least you validated your self-worth and feelings and regardless if anyone agrees.
This world was built for human beings to work hard, but no one in this day and age earning a hard days pay as a talk show host should have to endure pain. WTF is this world coming to? With Tyra’s money, she has enough to stop the hate and nonsense and I kind of am following in her footsteps because it is certainly true,” NO ONE loves a winner!” Tyra is a winner and I hope she takes over the entire network because to own a personality like she does today, and with all that everyone knows she has gone through as a diva on the walk way, is a crime that negativity should be serving due time behind bars. Tyra’s interview was on point. However, she has plenty of friends, but may be too consumed with her work to enjoy just hanging out with folks. I know it’s like a guilt feeling you have when you step away from your work, but that can be cured by simply not taking one’s work home with you Leave work on the job Tyra. You deserve to have fun girl.
So I was moving my car to conform to alternate side of the street parking rules and happened to flip on 107.5WBLS. I believe Steve Harvey was rounding out his morning show. A few years ago I was granted the privilege to attend the Steve Harvey Radio Morning Show debut party with tons of stars all over the place routing for the “King of Comedy.”
I was moved by his comments on air. He mentioned how folks have to follow their dreams and not give up. I could have listened to this motivational portion of the show forever. For a moment, I wondered if Steve Harvey was working on a spiritual cd because I know this is the kind of advice and tips I have been craving. Steve Harvey has what it takes to be the next motivational speaker. I see the light and was even jumping for joy when he mentioned that when you have God in your life, no one can take anything away from you.

He’s the guy who was accused of firing shots at a nightclub that injured a bystander. Meanwhile, Sean Combs and Jennifer Lopez sped away from the scene. We have no idea why Shyne would have any problem with The multi-mogul. #8- Internet photos have leaked with 50 Cent in a compromising position, but rumors speculate the photos are false and not 50 Cent. #7- It has been reported that R. Kelly still stand by his word that the person in a sex video with a minor are not him. Anyone who has seen the video would be considered a criminal for watching a minor so not many folks are talking or admitting if they think it is R. Kelly in the video. #6- Zane’s new book, Succulent reaches the New York Times Bestseller list and we find out about it from Zane’s people on the day it happens. Buy the book if you haven’t already. It’s another book on fire. #5- Folks are still buzzing over a reported ghostwriter of an urban author’s work who hasn’t paid him and now speaking out. We just exposed a bookclub who claims they are going to be at the Book Expo and issuing a catalog with reviews and/or ads by request instead in their efforts to keep people informed of all new books, but they’d like to offer an alternative if preferred so at least your product is in their catalog. In other words, you can request to advertise with them, but if not, they will still advertise your book and their review. You can have your lawyers offer a D.D. for those of us in law who understand what this is to decline the review (threat) and even have their reviews contested with online bookstores for removal. No one has the right to issue a false review of your work. Opinions and reviews are two different things and should be stated as such. Let’s get these punks who like to prey on authors off the map least they take over to become conglomerate freaks robbing folks of creativity. Heatlist - 3/8/08 Hillary Clinton’s “Wake-up call” ad campaign successfully nabbed votes from Barack Obama in Texas primaries among women voters who crossed over to the maternal-like appeal of “THE HILL” who not only made a comeback disappointing Obama’s 11 state winning streak, but won over millions of Saturday Night Live fans with her light humor that seemed warm, inviting and trusting for a change. She is a charismatic person and does look radiant when she smiles as opposed to when she flairs up fighting to win the democratic bid. However, the next day, papers and AOL news revealed why Hillary Clinton may be fighting like a “monster” as involuntarily said by a resigning Obama camp member and leaving the world to now speculate if Bill Clinton and his wife have some unfinished business they are hiding at the expense of special interest groups. These candidates are raising millions in record numbers. I wonder how much of that will they get to keep and when will Hillary turn over her tax records as proposed by Obama’s camp? Until this issue is resolved Americans are going to wonder! No candidate should have anything to hide. However, even these latest allegations may not be enough for Barack to fight what is now being called, “Media stroking” on his behalf. He is going to have to stay very focused now that America has clumped his impeccable campaign into the negativity pact with the release of damaging comments from an insider of his camp. Hillary Clinton’s, “Shame on you!” comment toward Barack is no match for the words, “She’s a monster!” from an indirect source toward Hillary. This comment wholeheartedly damages the integrity of the Democratic party leaving all to wonder if Obama should have indeed faced Tavis Smiley and Black political activists at a recent Black forum so America could see that “YES HE CAN” stand up to a real challenging politcal debate instead of letting an insider attempt to destroy his flawless campaign. People have been speculating if the insider was bought to say something damaging although this is not what is being reported, and folks still can’t get over the Muslim garb photo which did not work to bring Obama down. He still won many delegates from Texas and other states and stands as the front runner despite Texas Super Tuesday 2 STEP polls where the same pollers had to return to cast their ballots again. Talk about a crime at the polls. What poor Texan family can afford to bus it twice to the polls so their votes will count? And now, the states where votes were tossed like Florida and clearly for Hillary may now count which is something like overt cheating out of an unwritten history book I am sure someone responsible is going to write. People have been changing the word CAUCUSING to CHEATING!
Even the mayor of Philadelphia put his integrity on the line to face radio host Miss Jones upon acquirying fire for allowing a screening of THE WIRE in the state’s city hall building, and possibly one of the most violent shows on air exposing the dark world of criminal-life. America wants to see Barack Obama and his aggessive side aside from his speeches which are some of the most powerful speeches to date since Dr. Martin Luther King. However, Hillary clearly called him a XEROX speaker to disgrace his originality when he made one slip up by mentioning the words of another political leader with his permission of course like,”JUST WORDS!” Now for those 1 million folks who didn’t see the news follow-up clearly explaining this, Barack now looks like he plagarized someone’s speech with just “TWO WORDS!” This is worse than a reviewer saying your work needs editing for 2 mistakes. It’s puzzling.
I’m not knocking Hillary Clinton, but she reminds me of a perSOULnality in my book who throws slingshots to destroy folks and fights dirt for dirt leaving folks to wonder if her kind of anger may evoke histility from militant countries who only see her as a female version of Bill Clinton. I love the fight for the women’s issues thing, but even I know there is no America without foreign policy and safety of America’s borders. It’s like building a beehive without a queen bee to direct, so any kid can come by and knock the thing down, crush it and make a run for it because no one is giving directions to attack.
Without security and safety issues addressed overseas, just imagine what is going to go down in America? People will think they can challenge our own infrastructure and the signs of moral breakdown are already showing.
Already, almost every child has been poisoned by lead toys, and even utensils, bowls,products, dental bridges and cars made overseas are lead based. We really don’t see that real issues need to be addressed now and among these candidates before more crisis hits home. McCain presents that tough golden boy appeal, but couldn’t even keep his composure on a plane to a reporter after winning enough delegates to lead the Republican parties. I am afraid someone from somewhere may have to run for office with an agenda for the people and not to just senselessly bicker. I don’t want to hear the name of the other candidates from any parties mouths. Just focus on the issues. This is the person who will win!
Barack is being very careful to not seem too aggressive and show more of his compassionate nature, but is this what America really wants? Already, someone bombed a New York City Army recruiting station which may be the sign of what is to come from militant and aggressive non-war supporters right here in America. This situation is obviously a result of the adverse effects of news on common folk minds. In my opinion, Barack Obama should continue to give his poignant speeches and not let Clinton’s camp get the best of him by knocking his great oration skills. This is a ploy for mind-destruction. Of course, it’s difficult to not take into heart harsh words as Hillary Clinton has thrown that are psychologically defeating. Obama can simply dismiss these comments by accepting the words of his inside campaigner, letting America know he now stands by the comment. And why? Anyone who tells a Black man in America running for president whose people have been oppressed for centuries “SHAME ON YOU!” when America brought black people here against their will as slaves and trust if Blacks didn’t fight for freedom and disegregation with the help of black media, there certainly would not have been an open door policy for hispanics, jews and all people of color to gain acceptance in America. We’re all fighting the same war, but Hillary and Obama are fighting a different war that’s going to destroy the democratic party and bring back hate among a people and new culture that was learning to love one another.
We can’t go around knocking experience, JUST WORDS, name calling, and attacking one another without any real power to lead this country and by dividing people. This cancels out all progress and everyone loses. Yesterday, there was a war and slavery and tomorrow all of that could return with self-fueled competition. I say all candidates focus on the issues, and while I am leaning on Obama’s side because he just seems wholesome and less petty than the others, I do like Clinton, McCain and Hucklebee. I even respect Bloomberg and former NY Mayor Gugliani. New York is in a better place, less crime, more folks with jobs and folks who are successful are civil. You can take one state and pattern the development of an entire nation. I hate the transit fare hikes too, but you know what I rather have the city fix corroding pipes that can burst, bridges that can fall, a sewer system that can back up and cause disease and sidewalks and streets that can cave in with natural breakdown of materials at any moment taking an innocent life than pay later. Folks have to keep working hard, learn to save and invest one’s money and I am not talking about your local saving which accrues no interest and a holding place for America to borrow your money. I’m talking about investing in one’s neighborhood with extra patrol units from a collective fund, putting cameras on commercial streets to eliminate crime, and setting up more volunteer jobs for college students to work and pay for classes while living at home and stopping parents with kids in college from kicking them out until they earn their degrees so they don’t slip through the cracks and look for ways to earn petty cash. As it is, almost 3 out of 10 black males has been incarcerated. Some locked up without evidence or proof. If this isn’t genocide 0f a race of people and men needed in the home environment, I don’t know what is. Hillary may appeal to the superwomen out there, but America needs its black strong men or I am afraid black youth growing up and even children of color will be tomorrow’s problem. What are you going to tell a young gangster toting a gun at age thirteen living in your home without a father figure, “SHAME ON YOU!” Let’s respect our black men and not baffoon them. I no longer watch SNL after that racist skit depicting Jesse Jackson, Reverend Al Sharpton and Barack Obama. It may have made them icons and put them on the map, but I felt a slate go through my heart for barack Obama, a good and decent man who really deserves to win. I sense a truly good man in America, period!
