DLNA SURVEY POLLS

DLNA POLL SURVEY 1- Why did Miss Jones really leave her No. 1 Radio Program?-Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA Pollers reveal that Miss Jones wants to spend time with her child and maybe fed up with recent allegations that another shock jock diva may have put a hit on her life for her brash comments. There is no need of Miss Jones sticking around to await if this rumor is true. As controversial as she may be, she’s well respected and liked by millions for her promotions as well on the number one Hip Hop radio station.

DLNA POLL SURVEY 2- Is Mariah Carey really in love with Nick Cannon? Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA Pollers feel that the marriage happened to quickly to be a true love affair and Nick Cannon is being toggled around like a puppet on a string. If it is love, time will only tell, but pollers believe Mariah just wants to have a baby with no strings attached and Nick will be gone from the picture soon. He may be enjoying the ride while he can. After all, who wouldn’t want to be Mariah’s puppet?

DLNA POLL SURVEY 3- Do you think it was right for Miss Info seem to insinuate T-Boz might be under the influence of alcohol on her radio show? Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA pollers felt Miss Info  was truly out of place, but for the publicity of it all, it drew attention to Tionne Watkins who actually suffers from Sickle Cell Anemia. Disilgold has her excellent poetry book she wrote years ago, but unfortunately she didn’t make it in Literary Divas. She may have been drowsy from medication and if in fact, she did have a drink, that’s her business. Miss Info should not have put out there says pollers. It was her tackiest delivery of news ever and we like Miss Info’s news.

DLNA POLL SURVEY 4- Will you tune in  to see the Wendy Williams Show on Fox 5 to help boost her ratings for a 6 week show trial or do you hope Wendy’s show does not make it? Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA pollers like Wendy Williams and love that she says the things everyone is thinking, but not bold enough to say. There’s something good about the shock jock diva and she’s making history with an upcoming movie, new tv show and syndicated radio show. Give her credit says pollers. She even tries to stay in shape and whether her hair is way too big for her head or not, it gives her that Hollywood look putting her in direct competition with Oprah and Tyra who pollers say haven’t shown her any love yet. Wendy is really reliant on her fans and trooper for staying true to her craft.

DLNA POLL SURVEY 5- Do you think Will Smith’s New Hancock Movie will be the highest grossing film from the Hollywood actor? Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA pollers think it will rank high, but not surpass his other movies because of timing. Summer movie releases are very competitive and more and more folks are building home theaters and awaiting to rent dvds by Will Smith for their entertainment.

DLNA POLL SURVEY 6- Do you think Film star Brad James should have his own talk show on tv ? Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA pollers can’t believe the talent of this actor and fell he should immediately star in his own tv show. Now you know how Hollywood reads our press, so don’t say we didn’t tell you. We can’t revela the sexy comments we received.

DLNA POLL SURVEY 7- Magic Johnson just penned a book sure to sell millions of copies, so do you think he should put in his bid for vice president of the United States?Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA pollers asked for the title of Magic Johnson’s book. Well, he didn’t tell his fans at first, but we think we have the official title. Stay tuned for an update next week. Magic is taking over. DLNA pollers also suggested he run for vice president because he’s a true business man who understands the American Way. You heard it here first.

DLNA POLL SURVEY 8- Do you think Ryan Leslie’s new album will be the highest grossing debut artist album in history and out sell Elvis Presley’s collection because folks from all nationalities like him?Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA Pollers are crazy over Ryan Leslie’ snew music. It does help that he’s a Harvard grad with a clean image, but he just  released a forbidden photo on his myspace that is revealing a not so nice image. We won’t tell you what he’s cropping, but you can take a look yourself folks.

DLNA POLL SURVEY 9- Is R. Kelly really off the hook or do you think he is still guilty?Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA pollers think he’s not off the hook and something will come back to bite him in the ass just like all of these cases popping up for celebrity past alleged offenses. R. Kelly’s fans want to support him, but many feel they are supporting his supposed offenses. The charges stick with you for life, but the AA community believes he was set up like Michael and are slowly trying to give R Kelly, a well liked musician another chance. Folsk can’t shake his hits! The man is a hit maker!

DLNA POLL SURVEY 10- Why is everyone saying that Disilgold.com is a hottest site of 2008? Email Disilgold@aol.com

According to DLNA Pollers, folks are tired of elevating their beginning signs of carpal tunnel syndrome by clicking onto hyperlinks onto some media sites who insult their intelligence with hype headlines and photos accessible to any media to only find a brief write up about nonsense, lies and hog wash along with insults about celebs.  Celebs can’t even leave their house.

DLNA POLL SURVEY 11-  Do you think Madonna’s husband will take all of her money because she didn’t sign a pre-nup?Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA Pollers think that she will gladly give him whatever he wants to move on with his life. She has enough money to open a football stadium and host her own concerts for the rest of her life.

DLNA POLL SURVEY 12- Do you think Sean Diddy Combs is responsible for a 300 million dollar lawsuit filed by a victim shot in the face for being at the wrong place at the wrong time?Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA Pollers don’t feel Sean Diddy Combs is responsible. Celebrities are always targeted upon attending events, but nevertheless, they shouldn’t be held accountable when folks get crazy. Sean Diddy Combs is so stressed right now, he’s gaining weight, letting folks like Charlemagne mock him and about to give up and we can’t let that happen. Where are folks loyalty. You know Diddy made hip hop fashionable. Poor fellow. He got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and can’t even enjoy it.

DLNA POLL SURVEY 13- Can poets like Cynthia Highsmith Hooks bring poetry back in style this year with one poem?Email Disilgold@aol.com

Cynthia Highsmith Hooks is the author of The Soul of a Black Woman: From a Whisper to a Shout, one of the best poetry books of this era. For those of you who don’t know, her book was honored a YGA Poetry Book of the Year, but when her husband went overseas to serve our country, she abruptly stopped writing, but is making a comeback. Her site can be visited at: http://www.authorsden.com/visit/viewwork.asp?AuthorID=11931

DLNA POLL SURVEY 14- Uh, oh… Zane has so many top books out, should Disilgold form a Best Strebor Books category at Disilgold? Email Disilgold@aol.com

DLNA Pollers feel that a category should be made in Zane’s honor. With over 30 authors published in one year, it is inevitable that many will be celebrated this year by the community.

HEATLIST10- DISILGOLD BOOK REVIEW: Just Too Good to Be True by E. Lynn Harris

A Novel

“Brady Bledsoe and his mom, Carmyn, will remind you of most typical single mother and son relationships. Brady aspires to become a football jock and his dreams become a revelation, but when women swoop at his feet, it becomes questionable if they are really in love with Carmyn’s son or just eyeing for a piece of his cool millions as a Heisman Trophy contender for a spot on on a NFL team.

There are scenes where Brady encounters AKA’s, and don’t be surprised to find a diary entry of a girl who wants to bed him. He’s sort of your imperfect son as Carmyn finds out, but at the same token, Brady finds out his mother is not perfect either.

A heartwarming and endearing story that focuses on Brady’s young life, Too Good To Be True makes for a top book read, and the same eye-capturing attention to E. Lynn’s writing style in books like ” I Say a Little Prayer,” and ” A Love of My Own.” However, E. Lynn now draws a broader audience with this eventful story that focuses mostly on the young adult life of a black man.

Lynn has created a masterpiece once again that will catapult and transition his writing career into cinema production. Just to give you an idea of how he draws you into his stories, imagine a man named Zander who pretends to be gay, but is straight and only acts this way to attract and bed more women who trust that he’s one of the girls, but is really  a sex siren awaiting to prey on fine women. There are many more surprises all through our E. Lynn Harris’s book. You can’t put “Too Good to Be True”  down.

Lynn’s new novel is… “MASTERFULLY WRITTEN! ENGAGING & EXCITING LITERATURE FOR ALL READERS!”

HEATLIST9- DISILGOLD BOOK REVIEW: Click: Ten Truths for Building Extraordinary Relationships by George C. Fraser

Click

Click: Ten Truths for Building Extraordinary Relationships by George C. Fraser reveals ten powerful secrets for building long term networking relationships with  tested and proven principles utilized by “the master teacher and visionary” who is responsible for bringing out the nation’s largest gathering of black professionals at his PowerNetworking Conference.

Revealed by critics and media worldwide as the best networking event for black professionals and business owners, Fraser now reveals how he built his FraserNet enterprise and the results will amaze you.  George challenges you to connect to achieve ”value based relationships rather than just network to achieve “superficial rapport built”on goal based objectives. He shows you how to reconnect with your relationships no matter how busy and utilize your voice to “add value, thus validating your sense of purpose and point of view.”

An excellently organized work with pivotal transitions that gravitate the eye of your aspiring CEO and most accomplished business guru,  quotes from prominent figures in networking are inserted to keep you focused on building your brand, loving what you do and serving others. What I particularly liked was his dedication toward giving back to youth. George  Fraser also points out the need for self-evaluation assessment since change starts with you.

My favorite chapter section  is “Truth-5″ where Fraser mentions, “Bless them and release them!” When you have shared your values, no matter how far relationships travel apart, those who have connected in the past will reconnect and continue to grow together. However, Fraser reminds readers to not forget to work and play, enjoy the process of success and “make peace, not war, with words during conflicts which come with the territory on one’s journey to success.

In other words, watch what you say, surround yourself  with positive people to avoid conflicts, and if you are having trouble join affluent organizations to help you get there. If you are ready to release your “authentic voice” read CLICK.

Over all,  Click by George C. Fraser is  one of the most MAGNETIC, POWERFUL, LIFE CHANGING and   IMPORTANT BOOKS OF THE YEAR! If you like books by  Napoleon Hill, Stedman Graham,  Susan L. Taylor and Terrie M. Williams, you’ll love CLICK. Take it with you on the road to learn, grow, prosper and succeed!

HEATLIST8- DISILGOLD BOOK REVIEW: Black Pain: It Just Looks Like We’re Not Hurting by Terrie M. Williams

It Just Looks Like We're Not Hurting

Noted as the top PR maven worldwide who helped catapult many talented stars to success with expert promotions, event planning, press release campaigns and mainstream exposure, Terrie M. Williams candidly and shockingly reveals how her road to success became  debilitating and painful  when she discovered she was suffering from depression, a symptom that afflicts everyone at some point of their life due to many reasons that are all stories unique to each individual, and  what she she attributes as the “game face,” a new definition!

Some disorders she discovered through her personal assessment were symptoms like “overeating and workaholism,” but she also, identifies these disorders in other people with symptoms such as “shopping, gambling,  sex addiciton, crime, alcohol abuse and violence.”

Her purpose for writing Black Pain seems to not only reveal her own struggles and how she acquired mental and better health solutions, but her willingness to help others with heartfelt quotes and stories from career oriented people from all walks of life and several hundred celebrities. One of the most poignant sections of her book are “Twenty Signs That You Might Be Depressed” on page 26. If any of these signs sound like you or someone you know, the prescription antidote may be a thorough reading of Black Pain.

Over all, Terrie M. Williams’ message resounds loud and clear with three simple statements, “Depression kills,” “Black people are dying!” and “We don’t have to live in pain!” so the first step is acknowledging you’re in pain, reading about the struggles of others to know you are not alone and breaking your own silence by sharing your story. It may set you free and make you richer. Black Pain is now the number one book in America and I can’t think of an author more deserving of this honor. Terrie M. Williams has touched so many lives. If you’ve read The Personal Touch, also by  Terrie M. Williams, you’ll love Black Pain.

Black Pain offers readers “healing in one’s own time” and validates that folks aren’t “going crazy” as mentioned in this phenomenal book, but just hurting. Prepare to renew your spirits.  BLACK PAIN IS AN EMPOWERING, WELL-CRAFTED, INSPIRING AND POWERFUL JOURNEY!  TERRIE M. WILLIAMS HAS DONE IT AGAIN!
