ASK HEATHER: What fashion lines do you recommend this season for authors on tour?

Well, this question could not have come at a better time, and since it is fashion week I had to find a line for all women. Glamour, feminine dresses and accessories are back. One fashion line I think is going to do real well is Tina Knowles’ TK line. She is the mother of song artists Solange and Beyonce’, both enjoying fab and fashionable singing careers with style. Meanwhile, Tina Knowles is taking over fashion, and you never saw her arriving.

Of course, Tina Knowles  worked with fine materials on hand to create styles for Destiny’s Child which set the group apart and put girl groups back on the map since TLC with unstoppable force. All of that fine training and perfecting has granted Tina with the power of attorney to be a voice of authority on fashion. This lady knows her fashions and how to make clothes that look good on every woman and no matter what body type. I was simply amazed by the quality of the entire line upon watching the HSN network.

Tina Knowles recently debuted her 1 year anniversary to her same entitled fashion line, and visibly noted with T.M. initials on her jeans, bags and accessories that are right on point this season, simple, elegant, classy and suitable for all figures and sizes. Every top designer is defined with her signature dress and Tina has got it!

With a fashion line available only on the HSN network and her website, Tina introduces a new pant jean that compliments the figure with build in darts that lift  and with straight leg or wide leg styles. What I like is that the waist is high so you don’t have to worry about your bottom scooping out of your jeans.

Tina Knowles introduces the jersey top in an array of colors that can be cinched at the waist with a wide belt or worn as a dress. The difference is the fine detail at the top that accentuates the dome sleeves to give a regal look. The material of her 3 quarter blouses are  thin, free flowing and easy to work with.

Tina Knowles classic item is her TK dress. Built with a hidden zipper, slip, cinch waist and soft gathering on the sleeves along with a flair around the bottom, this dress moves, fits well and the material doesn’t need pressing. You can take this dress anywhere on a trip and it doesn’t wrinkle much. Like Tina Knowles mentions, It’s a forgiving dress for low or high waists and tends to gather comfortably so you feel great all day.

My personal favorite accessory from the TK line is the TK clutch bag. It’s not too big or too small and has a strap so that when you are busy signing books, you can place it over your shoulder. I am simply impressed with all of the clothes from Tina Knowles’ line. VERY SMART, NECESSARY AND TIMELESS for today’s woman.

The subtle colors from browns, “The new black” and apple greens to crisp whites and tomato reds are hard to choose from, but adding color to your wardrobe is all the craze this fall so delve in.  I highly recommend the TK line for authors on tour.
