Tyra Banks has endured her share of drama this past year from a riot outside of her America’s Top Model Auditions leading to a stampede  to firing back at an over zealous fan. It’s not easy being a Talk Show Diva. You can see that Tyra is back to being her happy self which everyone wants to see. Her Twitter pic looked like she was giving up. In Essence Magazine she revealed how lonely it is being at the top and that she really doesn’t have true ace boon coon friends, but who can blame her. If folks weren’t real before she made it they aren’t real now.

sept-1-tyra-banks-2  At least Tyra has her great staf and colleagues. Sometimes that’s all you need to get by and a handsome hunk which she needs to keep out of the spotlight. Just advice. Go get ‘em Tyra.

There she goes down the runway with the Tyra Cat Walk. Now that is classy. HD TV makes Tyra’s dress look like a mix of tangerine-red. That color  works for the fall.

DISILGOLD SOUL BOOK REVIEW: I Can Make You Love Me By Karen White-Owens

“A BOLD, SEXY AND SCANDALOUS THRILLRIDE HIT OF THE YEAR!”- Heather Covington

Like an insouciant flashback seen through a myopic lens , an enchanting scene between 5 year old Adam Carlyle and his 13 year old babysitter , Wynne Evans, quickly dissipates with heartwarming smiles as she finishes reading his favorite fairytale. You would think Adam is impressed with Wynn’s storytelling technique and ready to be tucked in, but he sits right up, looks into Wynn Evan’s eyes and surprisingly pops the question like a grown man, “Will you marry me?”

Wynn, a pre-teen, shrugs off Adam’s advances as an innocent gesture, but Adam cries that if she goes he’ll be alone since his sister is leaving off to her third year of college. An enchanting and light-hearted beginning, it is obvious that Adam doesn’t just have a crush, but knows who he wants and to spend the rest of his life with.

Wynn can’t help but wish that her own boyfriend would pop the same question with as much passion as the young Adam and laughs off the entire incident. With two children later, born to her ex, Jim Harrison, Wynn manages to land a successful job as a successful and lucrative CNA upon completion of her degree from Michigan State University.

The same man she had hoped to marry left her for another woman, but even with separation he seems to want to control Wynn and often takes her boys for a few days and brings the boys back earlier than expected just to upset her. He’s rude, brash, pompous and on top of that he is verbally abusive and doesn’t want her to have a life. He owns several buildings and not only has visitation rights, but is paying the successful Wynn hefty child support payments for his prowess ways.

A delightful turn occurs one day as Wynn winds up at a hot dog stand in front of New Center One Building. She receives a call and replies with a deep and sultry business voice, “ Wynn Evans.” A man who is standing behind Wynn and checking out her body from head to toe and over hears her begins sighing and motioning a confrontation until she turns around. It isn’t apparent that she is starring at Adam Carlyle all grown up, built cock diesel and ruggedly handsome with the same boyish face. He does her the favor and asks if she grew up around the Rosedale arena.

With a barrage of light to intensive romantic chit-chatter fueled with testosterone from Adam and estrogen from Wynn, it is apparent that there is mutual attraction, but Wynn who is reluctant to give him her number gives in. After all, this man standing in front of her is 7 years younger and the same child she babysat as a kid, plus she has two boys who are attached to their own father and bringing Adam into her life despite their romantic rendezvous might not work . It’s all too surreal, but Adam is persistent.

For days he sends flowers, calls and insists on them having dinner, and even if he has a mad woman named Vivian Manning after him. Then the day arrives when Jim brings the boys back and notices that someone has sent her flowers. He becomes curious and so outraged he suddenly wants Wynn back in his life. Like a twist of fate, Wynn is caught up. Jim was once a man she loved, but she decides to rejects Jims advances.

Like a scorned man, he says “That man will never love you and you’re sagging breasts” and goes on and on with more pop shots and insults that are not true of the 35 year old slender Wynn. Her mind is made up, but even Adam is unsure if he fits into Wynn’s life 100%. Things grow stranger by the moment when her boys whom she loves more than anything disappear. Could it be Adam or Jim?

Time is running out and Wynn is in a search of her sons. Adam by profession is qualified to find them and so she entrusts the man who she believes truly loves her to help find her sons. You’ll never guess who took her sons and why?

If you were caught between two lovers, one a forbidden romance by luck and chance and the other by initial desire separated in love and war and both returned to you with promise of everlasting commitment, which man would you choose even if the wrong decision could jeopardize the lives of your children?

“I Can Make You Love Me” by Karen White-Owens makes readers wonder if they should open or close the door to people who return from one’s past. In this case, the life of Wynn’s children depends on it making for a true drama readymade for the big-screen. The climatic stand-off between two lovers, one real and the other a façade scores big for the author of other high intense novels like “The Way You Aren’t” and “Now Until Forever.” Ms. Owens is not just an author, she’s a story teller with a gift of penning novelistic stories with great timing, plot, dialogue, suspense and intensified intrigue. Karen-White Owens is a classic and contemporary Romance and Drama Novelist of our era.

Set for an October release, “ I Can Make You Love Me” is a BOLD, SEXY AND SCANDALOUS THRILLRIDE HIT OF THE YEAR! Visit the author at www.KarenWhiteOwens.com.

Video Dish: R. Kelly and Keri Hilson New Music Release- Number 1

by Disilgold Staff

The baby maker is back with a duo hit with Keri Hilson. The title of course, “Number One,” is R. Kelly’s self-fulfilling prophecy and prediction where his album will land when it hits number one of the charts.  He still looks the same and with Keri helping him out like an angel ready to restore the definition of a classic love a ballad. That makes 2 hits thus far, first the score on Whitney Houston’s new album, “I Look to You” and now “Number One.”  If R. Kelly keeps this up he may make a comeback as in everyone focusing in on his music and no more drama., but looks like there is already drama brewing. Listen carefully as he says, R. Keri Baby.  Everyone caught that. Listen for yourself.

Music Dish: Aaliyah Tribute

For those of you who don’t know, I took my business over at www.Disilgold.com to a whole new level after hearing news of Aaliyah’s fateful death after a tragic airplane crash while making the video, Rock the Boat.  I think every person in life has admired one music artist they could relate to.

For my grandparents era it was Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick and  Nancy Wilson. For my mother’ s era it was Diana Ross., Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle and Chaka Khan. For me there weren’t many singers whose music spoke to me as a young woman because I often can tell when an artist is truly feeling a song and means the words they sing and not just trying to put a hit out for money.

MUSIC DISH: Will Whitney Houstons New Album I Look to You land at No.1 On August 31st

whitney-houston-i-look-to-you

 Reported by Disilgold.com Staff

The heavily anticipated come back album of Whitney Houston, “I Look to You,” with same matching single written by R. Kelly lands August 31st, but press pause…

We  know R. Kelly is a music genius, but some folks have been buzzing lately that they won’t support her album if R. Kelly has his hands on it.  Reminds  folks of the late Issac Hayes Album, “I Stand Accused.”  Maybe the reason why a few people’s convictions are so strong against R. Kelly is that folks are wondering if he did have a relationship with the late Aaliyah who was only 15 when they worked together. By the way, her b-day is tomorrow.  After all, sleeping with a minor is a crime and unforgiven on the Christian market, but I don’t blame Whitney with going with R. Kelly’s production.

The “Streets of Blood” Interview

with Kam Williams

See full Interview on www.Disilgold.com

Curtis James Jackson, III, aka 50 Cent was born on July 6, 1975 in South Jamaica, Queens, where he was raised by his single-mom until she was murdered when he was only 8. He was taken in by his grandparents, but began hanging out with the wrong kids and began selling crack by the age of 12. While still a teenager, he was arrested and convicted for drug dealing, and turned his life around while serving out a six-month sentence.

After being paroled, he parlayed his street cred into an enviable career in gangsta’ rap with the help of the late Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC, and the rest, as they say, is musical history. Here, he talks about his latest film, Streets of Blood, a crime thriller set in New Orleans and co-starring Val Kilmer.

Kam Williams: Hi 50, what interested you in making Streets of Blood?
50 Cent: I was looking to work with Robert DeNiro on this picture but ended up working with him on Righteous Kill. The script sat for a while, but once they got Kilmer involved I knew I had to do it.
KW: Tell me a little about your character, Stan Green.
50:  My character Stan wants to play things straight but cannot provide the things his family needs and wants, so he makes some decisions that catch up with him.
KW: How did you prepare for the role?
