Shawne Merriman of NFL San Diego Chargers was reportedly arrested for allegedly choking reality tv show star Tila Tequila in his residence when she attempted to leave the apartment.  A statement from his camp alleges that he tried to stop Tila Tequila from leaving because she was inebriated, but folks are buzzing that this is a case of possible roid rage. His bail was set for under 100,00 and no further reports have circulated as of yet, but  Tila Tequila, an excessive twitterer failed to make any tweets within 24 hours and this led her followers to believe something was wrong and indeed there is a pending trial. Do you feel that your starlets are jeopardizing the careers of men in high paid professions for money or are men in high paid professions trying to control today’s starlets and if they can’t have them they won’t let anyone have them?  Sean “Diddy” Combs for the first time in his very successful career poured his heart out to followers on twitter to pray for him. The music mogul complained he has been having trouble sleeping and suffering from Insomnia, a serious disorder if left untreated can lead to mental fatigue, heart disease and heart attack. No matter how much  Sean Diddy Combs gets fans to hate him and stay in front of media in understanding your nobody if media is not talking about you, and of course I don’t believ this myself,  his loyal fans don’t want to see him fall ill. So we sent some advice via Twitter suggested he drink a warm glass of milk before bed time and eat a turkey sandwhich since this meat product American’s love during Thanksgiving time has a natural chemical called Tryptophan which makes you sleepy. This also, explains why those family members who eat a hearty Thanksgiving meal sleep more during this holiday  gain weight since rest does this. Thus far, we have not heard from Sean Diddy Combs since. The mogul should awake soon from his den and we’ll keep you posted. You know  another hot group and album will surface as a result.

Oprah Winfrey’s fall season returns with a bang. Rumor mill has it that Jay Z will appear on the show. Does this mean the International Talk Show Queen has lifted the ban on inviting rap artists. It is a risque move. Some families and Christian parents won’t let their kids watch a show if there is hip hop on it. However, Jay Z.  may be joining forces with Oprah to lift America’s stereotype of HIP HOP music with a worldwide ban of the n-word in all future music. Of course, this doesn’t mean that past albums should be tossed into this ban. Hip Hop represents authentic vernacular of the streets and watered down HIPHOP loses sales. After all, these HIP HOP icons do give back in a big way. 50 Cent reportedly gave half a million toward development of his old neighborhood and Denzel Washington who has starred in gangster movies featuring the N-word has silently contributed millions.

This fall brings to market many heavy hitters in the music world and survey says avid consumers are buying it up if the price is right. Since stores have slashed prices for cds at 9.99, there has been an increase in music sales. These artists heavily promote everywhere and deserve their blessings. Just some albums I picked up were Trey Songz, READY,  Whitney Houston’s “I LOOK TO YOU,” Al B. Sure’s “HONEY I’M HOME” and his greatest hits cd both side by side on shelves. I also, got some copies of cds I already own for gifts such as Chrisette Michele’s , “EPIPHANY,” Mariah Carey’s “OBSESSED,” and  several others you’ll see me write about this year.

I was on 50 Cent’s www.ThisIs50.ning.com checking out his promotions for his upcoming book The 50th Law w/ Robert Greene as he announced in his recent interview over at www.Disilgold.com and he’s got the myspace backfrop thing going on with this serious look like if folks don’t buy his book he’ll self-destruct and  no one wants that to happen to the fellow, so I joined his support group because every sale makes a difference. The publishing industry is much tougher than the music industry. Anyway, I was scrolling down the list of blog postings and I came across Ryan Leslie’s radio show appearance at the bottom with this spaced out DJ talking gibberish. The whole conversation was about Cassie. Now as a former psychoanalyst for kids, I detected something in Ryan Leslie’s demeanor who comes off as a very intelligent artist. He mentions that some jilted lover must have leaked those naked Cassie pictures on the net. And I am going to juct leave the conversation like that…. And here’s his video “You’re Not My Girl!” featuring Ryan Leslie. Hmmm, a scorned man is dangerous, but lucky for Cassie I am sure Ryan has nothing to fret over with a album that hit Billboard’s No.1 spot. He’s been linked to a lot of women and even Chanel Iman, but I think the model is a musician who has done some work on his albums.

Labor Day marks my final installment of Entertainment News Only as conceived this summer. I think authors are starting to wake up and submit some stories about their lives as exciting as the music artists because THE INFUSION BEGINS! May the best lit, music, fashion, film and business news win. It’s my job to just report it and I will find YOU! Ryan is really exposed here today on the www.Literarydish.com , but we’re giving the cute fellow a break because he kind of reminds me of Michael Jackson. Someone better be the Michael Jackson of this century. Don’t say I didn’t predict a potential music icon in the making.

Serena Williams was fined $10,000 and lost the U.S. Open finals for yelling reported obscenities to a referee.    Serena had already earned 350,000 prize money for making it to the finals, but supposedly blew her cool when the referee called a foot fault. The footage clearly shows there was no foot fault. A call like this can’t be made at the finals and may be why Serena Williams felt she was violated. Her distemperment resulted in a sleuth of words, finger pointing and expressive anger.

The ” I hear it from the grapevine” media are stating that Serena said, ” I will kill you,” “I could kill you,” and “I’m going to shove a f@@$ tennis ball down your throat. “None of these allegations have been proven, but even though Serena said she didn’t say what is being reported, the fine stands and possibly more sanctions. Threatening anyone is a  crime in anyway or fashion is punishable by jail time, but  only the people sitting behind the referee can attest to what Serena said and that side would be biased and in support of the other contestant who looked pissed over winning the match in this fashion as well.

If the referee did not make the judgement call and report Serena she would have certainly lost her job. There are strict guidelines and referees can not be intimidated by sports players. On the otherhand, a false call was made here and fans of Serena say she is harmless and would never harm anyone. It was evident by how she stayed back. Perhaps, black people have cultural differences in expressing anger that may open up a United States Supreme Court case.  After all, she didn’t hit anyone, but she did throw that racket.

 I am sure she will only receive a fine and hearing where she’ll need to apologize, suck it up and move on, but at the same time, a false call was made and perhaps her union if she’s in one should counter sue! This would black list her, but its time for Serena to do other things. Her fashion line alone is worth  millions. F- the tennis industry.  Strike fire, retire, live your life.  Get out now Serena. They are jealous. You’re a machine and unstoppable. Folks  had to sabotage your career to  destroy you.

While some media was reporting that JayZ ’s album sales would be in jeopardy and had lost faith, Disilgold.com just received work from a trusted resource that Jay Z may top the Beatles  record for having the most number one album sales. Thus far, he has acquired over 495,000 in album sales opening week which is impressive, and so I’l be back with updates. I am predicting Jay Z will outsale the Beatles.

Paula Abdul headlines as host of VH1 Divas and of course, all media will be talking about Paula tomorrow  who decided to leave American Idol to do other projects. To land a performance on VH1 Divas is like a dream come true for many song artists. Paula got a chance to sing her pastime songs that still set her apart for what she brought to the game as a dance artist.  As far as the hairstyle, she would have faired better with a softer and curlier style, but I think even Paula knew the style was doomed and just continued the night with humor. That’s show bizz.

It’s a full  sweep as President Barack Obama heads to New York for a media blitz promoting a solution for national healthcare. As it stands, Medicare will be bankrupt in less than 7 years. How does this affect you?  People who invested in insurance will run out of funds for basic medical attention and emergencies and have to pay out of pocket. Illegal immigrants who are human beings too are entitled to full care when they check in ER. This means working folks will have to pick up the tab anyways. There could be a national health crisis if illegal immigrants are not treated for basic things like swine flu. Half of low paying jobs are filled by illegal immigrants seeking the American dream.  You are exposed to illegal immigrants when you get your car washed, eat in restaurants, frequent a laundromat, a local store or any facility where jobs can be fulfilled by illegal immigrants in need of work and are not too proud to work for a fraction of minimum wage.  They are the most skilled and kind people doing everything from mowing lawns, working in cleaners and even nail and hair salons.America cannot ignore this growing population. In fact, we’re all immigrants so don’t act like everyone’s patriotism isn’t on borrowed time. For Americans who refuse to contribute something, working Americans will have to pay out more and that means the rich will grow poorer. If folks can afford health care contributions than by all means everyone should contribute. Nothing is more important than health care.  People are living longer so folks might as well start investing.  It’s either that or the system grows broke, doctors go private and can charge whatever they want out of your pockets.  Funds are so low that doctors have become corrupt entities forcing healthy humans into sickness with bad medication that wears and tears on your organs without fail and sends American bodies into dialysis and other high paying treatments milking insurance such as Cancer.   Thee are probably preventative measures like eating healthy veggies which the cost per day is as much as  obtaining  insurance . So if you don’t invest in proper nutrition now, you’ll only pay later. I’m not saying eat a lot of veggies with pesticides or organic foods with bugs, but maybe grow local veggie farms in urban cities, let workers get estra 15 minute exercise breaks and instead of wasting money on fast foods pay oneself with a little health insurance piggy bank. If we don’t get this going while Barack Obama is in office, those damn Republicans are going to F!#@ things up because they don’t want to foot any poor person’s healthcare. You know how the rich want to stay richer.   YOU KNOW!!!!!

Oh my, President  Barack Obama may have doubts about Gov. Patterson, the first blind back man running for  N.Y. governer or rather be assigned the seat by default. I won’t even reiterate former governer  who was caught in a sex scandal. The chances of democrats winning the next presidential bid is slim so it seems according to polls, but not so fast. Patterson, whom I have met at the Ebony Red & White Ball is not a quitter and if some gentle bullying from B.O. got him to finally start taking things more seriously than it worked. Patterson says he’s not quitting and announced he will run even if he is not popular. After all, he inherited over a trillion in debt in New York and not even the smartest Madoff can fix that issue.  Folks are actually feeling sorry for him and he may be winning people over.

HEATLIST COUNTDOWN#8

Oprah scored high points on her 60’s show. Folks say Oprah’s flash back to the 60’s  show  ws top notch. Only Oprah could get everyone in her audience to dress so avant garde.  To me that’s when clothers were all about quality. Nothing beat that polyester than never wrinkled. Wish it would come back in style. All it needs is some better tailoring for suits.  It was a great show  and  her best friend Gayle King was not bad at all for her debut on MADMAN which everyone is loving right now.  Without any profanity, provacative clothing or sexy props that scene on Oprah  kept yoru attention. I mean how often does a black woman get to work in an office and be the object of affection of 3 good looking white men. Gayle should be a regular on the show.  I think she has a natural knack for acting now discovered. Go for it Gayle.

HEATLIST COUNTDOWN#7

Well, Mya and Dmitry aced Dancing with the Stars. Who knew? After all, Mya’s background is dance. It really is a shame how media smeared and lonked her to everyone in Hollywood, but I recall an interview in a magazine which I have to admit was out there. All in all,  people can only label and judge you by what you say in itnerviews. Always remember this ladies in show biz and dont let management encourage you to present an image that is not truly reflective of you. I would repost excerpts of the article, but I am sure you’ve  read some of Mya’s interviews already. Wishing her a win, win.  Folks are already  comparing Lil Kim to Mya’s performance.  Not sure, both have different styles all together.
