“Spike Lee, Armond White, Jody Rosen, Margo Jefferson, Toure and Alan Light and Daphnie Brooks attend a panel discussion on “Remembering Michael Jackson” at the Cantor Film Center on September 17, 2009 in New York City.” I am hoping that these events and venues dedicated to Michael Jackson all around the nation are as sincere as this event. Some folks are just having Michael Jackson events to glorify themselves and make money in the name of the decease.
I think these are all authors, but I don’t see any books around for sale. If there was a signing that would be very tacky and perhaps why I wasn’t invited to this event. There are just some events I will never do and that is sign books at an event in dedication to a decease person. That’s not my style!
