Headline: The Gospel According to King James   

                LeBron Raymone James was born on December 30, 1984 in Akron, Ohio to Gloria James, a 16 year-old single-mom seduced and abandoned by Anthony McClleland, an ex-con with no interest in parenting. Gloria did the best she could to raise LeBron on her own but that still meant moving frequently, living in the projects, and even temporarily surrendering custody of her son until she could get her finances straightened out.  

                Fortunately, LeBron found a sanctuary on the basketball court, where he would not only maximize his potential but forge lasting friendships with four teammates he would play with from junior high through high school: Dru Joyce III, Romeo Travis, Willie McGee and Sian Cotton. He was also very close to their coach, Dru’s dad, who would serve a critical role in shaping his character during his formative years as a father figure.

                Of course, everyone knows that LeBron blossomed into a basketball phenom who skipped college and went straight to the NBA where in 2009 he became the youngest player ever to be named league MVP at the age of 24. But few are aware of how loyal, humble and unselfish a man he is as well.

                To understand why LeBron has remained so grounded despite being nicknamed King James and being surrounded by all the trappings of overnight success, check out More Than a Game, an uplifting documentary directed by Kristopher Belman. This moving bio-pic chronicles the seven-year sojourn of the Fab Five, recounting both their basketball exploits and the personal challenges each had to face while collectively pursuing theirs hoop dreams.

Zoe Saldana naturally lends to the beauty of this futuristic photo shoot with striking features that compliment the vibe of the Complex shoot in a Brooklyn warehouse. More than likely she was freezing, but this is the sacrifice one makes for high tech results you will be impressed with in the December/ January issue of   Complex Magazine, a publication that is setting the standard for quality photoshoots that truly bring out the uniqueness of artists and so classy.  I won’t be surprised if  Mattel pays tribute to Zoe’s Domincan background with a  Zoe doll.  It’s about time. At first, I thought I had been following an imposter twitter account, but indeed Solange has a real twitter account and speaks her mind no-holds-barred.  She is also, pretty savvy with directing attention to her main concern which is a Haiti relief effort event. 2010 Golden Globes Recap

            Let’s face it, although the Hollywood Foreign Press Association hands out annual awards in a variety of television and film categories, most people really consider the Golden Globes a fashion show and an early indicator of Academy Award potential. Judging by this year’s results, Avatar, which won for Best Picture (Drama) and Best Director (James Cameron), emerged from the evening with the most Oscar buzz.

            In the acting categories, perennial-nominee (24) Meryl Streep took home her 7^th trophy for Julie & Julia, while Sandra Bullock won one for the first time in 4 tries for The Blind Side. Mo’Nique was a shoo-in for Precious in the supporting actress category, as was Christoph Waltz for Inglourious Basterds.

            Lead actor-honorees Jeff Bridges (Crazy Heart) and Robert Downey, Jr. (Sherlock Holmes) appear headed for a showdown at the Oscars, although common sense says George Clooney will remain in the mix. Still, Bridges enjoy the early edge given his body of work, his pedigree, and the fact that he’s been an Academy Awards also ran on several occasions.

            As for the evening gowns, most were understandably subdued, given the ongoing tragedy over in Haiti, with glaring exceptions Halle Berry and Mariah Carey turning heads in low-cut outfits ostensibly designed to draw a lot of attention to their golden globes. Rest assured, decadence and excess will be back in fashion on the red carpet by the time the Oscars roll around, so brace yourself for a perfunctory parade of gaudy baubles and gratuitous cleavage on March 7^th.

Folks weren’t feeling Amerie’s album at first, but now they are looking for their cd after hearing club cuts of her songs which sound ten times better. Here she is dancing her mane off and sorry haters, it’s all hers. When you shake your hair and it moves, bounces and falls back in place that’s your hair. Go get ‘em Amerie.

She should have acquired massive sales, but I guess with a book like Got Game, you had better show game. She’s going for mega-sales. Let’s see if this sex parody works. Will someone give this chick a tv show so she doesn’t go any further.  Her name is Kenya Moore and yes, she was a former Miss USA.

He debuted a series of self-produced hits from his Harlem Brownstone online via IMEEM which is where I first discovered the artist’s strong production skills that didn’t sound like anything I had ever heard on the market., so I GOOGLE SEARCHED his work and found his MYSPACE site. The site was quite different from Ryan’s current monochromatic, “I’m just chillin’ and working site, but if you want more take a look at my own site!”

Oh no! Matt Kemp was caught saying he and Rihanna were just friends and now it appears that he is the guy Rihanna was dating all long who may have  caused Chris Brown to fly off the handle. No woman would recuperate from domestic abuse this quickly so it seems and be this comfortable in a new realtionship in public, and unless they have been an item for at least 2 years, girls honor. Her incident with Chris Brown is only 1 year old. These are things we girls know. Is  Tiger Woods  bringing sexy back on purpose by accident? This new Vanity Fair Magazine cover couldn’t have arrived at a more critical time as folsk questioned if he would fall from grace  with humility or own up to his personality as a womanizer. He isn’t the first womanizer on earth and he won’t be the last.   Caught with 12+ mistresses and perhaps 25 more after you read this article, Tiger Woods sealed his fate as America’s Most Wanted Sex Symbol after this cover was prematurely leaked by media, and who now has women from all races, cultures and creed saying, Gawd Da-yum.

 Who  knew the  Asiatic Black King of Golf was packing pecs, deltoids, triceps, 181/2 inch arms, smotth skin and a 4 pack presenting a realistic picture of how most men look 6 months out of the year. Someone needs to cast Tiger as the next Bruce Lee.  It is obvious from this cover that Tiger Woods is more than a golfer. I don’t know who  Annie Leibowitz is, but she has got to be a mistress, too.
