First of all, it is amazing that this blog went from 15,000,000 to 2 million in rankings and I rarely post, and eventhough I am aware of all happenings of every artist thanks to my insiders always sending me news like I am still the Queen of Online Media. Guess folks want to heqr my opinion on issues and it only takes me a minute to post. No sweat.

Today Radio Host Ed Lover of Power 105.1 FM, New York’s Hip Hop Radio called out Drake who goes by the name “Drizzy” first week sales with disappointment.
The very proper and well spoken Canadian Hip Hop newcomer brought in an impressive 487,ooo in album sales, about half of Lil Wayne’s former album which opened with 1 million album sales on day one. Everyone was so sure Drake would top Lil Wayne with the overwhelming media hype around him from damaging his leg, going in on Lil Kim and having to cancel a New York City tour at the last minute sending fans into riot.

Summer is the time of year that co-workers, friends, family and even strangers show their true colors. Folks are either genuine or turn coats and it doesn’t take much research to know when folks have turned foe. If you feel like jumping off a roof would be better than getting stabbed by your friends, that is a sign that it is time to let go. What you see is usually what you get and has been evident below the surface for sometime and why it is important for CEOS to step back and analyze if communicating with specific people on friendly terms is worth it or may bring you the kind of negativity that can maliciously stunt your progress in life.
If a person is exhibiting signs of jealousy, rude behavior, deceit, cliquishness, sneakiness, bossiness or lashing out at you, now is not the time to be that person’s punching bag and absorb their negativity. It’s time to let go and even if it means separating yourself from the pact and before it is too late.
A turn coat is your worse enemy because they not only tell lies, upstage you and try to make you look bad, but steal your joy and motivation to pursue your ambitions. You must eliminate these souls from any form of communication and even if you make it obvious.

The Tony Awards aired tonight on tv from taping at Radio City Music Hall. Best revival of a play went to Fences featuring Denzel Washington and Viola Davis. All I can say is I am so proud of Denzel who has mentioned that longevity coms from studying your craft.
Fela! also, took home Best Musical award and would you believe it is produced by Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter and Will & Jada Pinkett Smith. How did these folks team up. Wasn’t Will Smith a big rival of Jay Z at one time stringing out Miami style Hip Hop that gave all of the guys in the hood a run fo their money. That’s a great team up and the result, A TONY AWARD!
Will Rick Ross Sell 1 Million Copies of Teflon Don on July 20th?
Rick Ross new album, Teflon Don, already has intoxicating tracks ‘digitalizing’ on airwaves like Super High featuring the smooth vocals of NeYo, and a video already out called, Blow Money Fast. There is high anticipation for this album due to the fact that folks have been buzzing that Rick Ross sounds like the late Christopher Wallace, aka B.I.G Notorious (Biggie). However, if you heard his Maybach anthem and other cuts off of his prior album it is clear that Rick Ross sounds like Rick Ross.
Add the rappers style and sophistication against the backdrop of his overall mellow persona about to take over and this rapper who isn’t so new to the game, but sort of just arriving after legal troubles may indeed, become a household name bringing back the intrigue of Hip Hop nostalgia among all cultures. Kids may vibe to Gucci Mane catchy hooks, but grown folks can relate to Rick Ross. I can truly listen to Rick Ross Hip Hop songs without getting perturbed by all of the catch all hooks out there that make every Hip Hop song sound the same. In fact, listening to the radio can get boring and why Dj’s need to mix up some old school with the new school to keep Hip Hop alive. 300,000 teen fans scattered between the top 5 urban cities ain’t saying nothing at the record stores. Rick Ross may bring out the cash spenders who haven’t bought a Hip Hop cd since Lil Wayne’s prior albums.
