A PRESIDENT WHO LIES TO BECOME PRESIDENT WILL LIE TO AMERICAN PEOPLE WHILE A PRESIDENT -LET’S FINISH THE JOB!

Last week , Newt Gingrich  referred to as the “GRINCH” HOUSE  SPEAKER, boldly called GOP presidential nominee, MITT ROMNEY,  a liar in his face. He questioned his negative ads toward him which totalled 3 million dollars. His comments stirred major questions by Norah O’Donnell  of CBS news who restated GINGRICH OWN WORDS, ” You said of Mitt Romney, someone who will lie to you to get to be president will lie to you when they are president. I have to ask you, are you calling Mitt Romney a liar?” Not sure if Norah was reprimanding Newt Gingrich who happens to be from the same party as Mitt Romney or trying to pull out inconsistencies with Mitt Romney’s campaign, but Newt’s comments are ALARMING on the scale of 1-10, a solid 10…..

Why President Barack Obama Shirtless Pics Could Cost Him Presidency?

The masculinity worked like a charm worked for first presidential run, but could backfire for a second term with this round of in nude photos of the President of the United States of America frolicking in Hawaii. People are asking is this the image we want our kids to embrace? Others say, “I think he even knows he is being photographed and just preparing for a second presidential run as America’s Next Sex Symbol” Would you go shirtless if you were Presidentt?

Whats Does President Barack Obama think About Cherokee Nation Allegedly Throwing Away Its Black Descendants?

This is the most ridiculous form of overt-reverse  racism brought on from oppression of a people to turn on one another and it won’t work. Fact is, African Americans who are slave descendants of the 2nd largest native tribe in America whether slaves or raped cannot be expelled from their race, culture and rapist slave masters who some were black, white and Native American. Everyone knows this.

When the African American slaves became too uncontrollable they were sold to black plantation owners but treated more like civilians or an adopted indentured servant. This is how slave masters made their money back for their slaves and  those too old to work on  plantation gladly gave them up to black slave masters who never moved, but instead integrated with white and native culture to build farms and wealth. Their offspring from great grand kids to great great grand kids are now heir to land all over the nation and many don’t know it.

The bottom line is this new rep of the entire Native American tribe  may have brainwashed natives to believe the Freedmen are milking their free entitlement to benefits, and so by dispelling them they think this will offend them to leave their own race. One rotten apple  don’t stop the show and no African Americans should turn away from their culture because the leaders of a new tribal nation are exerting the same racism placed on them on their brothers and sisters. This is no different than people of the same  culture acting racist toward one another in the 1960′s  due to complexion differences.

Who would think that a head of 2nd largest Native American tribe would be granted permission to throw away its family. Looks like the colloquial saying from my white grandma, “If you’re back get back, brown stick around and if your white, well alright” is still the great continental divide.

According to Reuters:

OKLAHOMA CITY (Reuters) – The nation’s second-largest Indian tribe formally booted from membership thousands of descendants of black slaves who were brought to Oklahoma more than 170 years ago by Native American owners.

The Cherokee nation voted after the Civil War to admit the slave descendants to the tribe.

But on Monday, the Cherokee nation Supreme Court ruled that a 2007 tribal decision to kick the so-called “Freedmen” out of the tribe was proper.

The controversy stems from a footnote in the brutal history of U.S. treatment of Native Americans. When many Indians were forced to move to what later became Oklahoma from the eastern U.S. in 1838, some who had owned plantations in the South brought along their slaves.

Some 4,000 Indians died during the forced march, which became known as the “Trail of Tears.”

“And our ancestors carried the baggage,” said Marilyn Vann, the Freedman leader who is a plaintiff in the legal battle.

Officially, there are about 2,800 Freedmen, but another 3,500 have tribal membership applications pending, and there could be as many as 25,000 eligible to enter the tribe, according to Vann.

The tribal court decision was announced one day before absentee ballots were to be mailed in the election of the Cherokee Principal Chief.

“This is racism and apartheid in the 21st Century,” said Vann, an engineer who lives in Oklahoma City.

Spokesmen for the tribe did not respond when asked to comment.

The move to exclude the Freedmen has rankled some African American members of Congress, which has jurisdiction over all Native American tribes in the country.

….

Removal from the membership rolls means the Freedmen will no longer be eligible for free health care and other benefits such as education concessions.

80 Percent of Women Say They Have Trouble Paying Attention to President Barack Obama

Try to watch this video and concentrate on what President Barack Obama is saying here ladies. You are not alone if you are distracted by BO’s looks. Thank goodness he has followed through on almost 80% of his promises. Now it is just up to the good hearted Republicans who just don’t want anyone messing with the hard working rich to fully pass measures to get America out of this recession without raising taxes. I think he is going to do it if he keeps looking this preselesque. His only fault so far is trusting too many people on his staff, but I think he is now learning to be more discerning.

Barack Obama is the first AA President- Did we Forget

Barack Obama’s popularity may be down this week thanks to all of the witch hunt stories made believable with constructed words by adversary media that sound like truth, but the most intelligent web surfers know the contrived stories I don’t care to mention are false and in awe over the Obama family unit. Never before has America seen a happy and successful black family in office. Every day of this man’s presidency and family should be a celebration.

What Barack Obama Wore on the View

Barack Obama made history today as the 1st president to ever visit a day time talk show during presidency. Dressed like a president in casual attire,  his presence illuminated the audience and had the very chatty, out spoken hosts blushing like little highschool girls. I am sure  First Lady Michelle Obama was checking those femme fatale mamas.

Is President Barack Obama Gods Brother on Earth because He Just Won the Nobel Peace Prize?

Is Barack Obama Gods Brother?

On this 9th day of October the world received news that President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize, one the most presitgious awards worldwide next to the YOUnity Reviewers Guild of America Awards, and nevermind that I have chosen to sell erotica books  online to gain revenue and give back to the youth  I educate, rather than emphasize my award winning poetry. Sometimes even good souls have to do what it must take to succeed The Disilgold Way, but at least I don’t have to sell my house or my soul. President Barack Obama admitted from day one he was no angel, but committed to his philosophies. I also, admitted this in my book The Disilgold Way: Countdown 101 From Writer to Self-Publisher at the beginning of my journey.  Somehow, President Barack Obama found time to author several books while building his blueprint for the nation. I somehow found time to author a dozen books on the mainstream eventhough as my pseudonym names and build www.disilgold.com.

What is fascinating is that my debut urban novel predicted Barack Obama’s presidency, but never in a million years would I think I would live to see the day that this great soul and human being would become a Nobel Peace Prize Winner this soon. I knew one day, but it’s just one year later since he took office. And- never woud I have dreamed of gaining a NAACP IMAGE AWARD finalist honor among people like President Barack Obama and Tavis Smiley who are ordinary individuals as myself who don’t pretend to be great, but when they enter the room, this magic occurs and a person’s greatness is matched with one’s supporters.

This is how I felt on stage at the Harlem Book Fair years ago when the center aisles were not filled with vendors as today. Over 10,000 people nestled still and listened as I took to the stage with NOT CELEBRITIES, but authors of this era. It is amazing how one’s voice can be utilized to stir more greatness with YOUnity.  I wish I was as polished as President Barack Obama, but even through my flaws, great people see my great soul and I must say my soul sees a global leader who knows what he is talking about when it comes to healthcare and global peace. There is no peace if people are building nuclear warheads.

America now has to spend money to monitor its borders and not its inner cities.  Bush chose this route and violence, drugs and crime accrued beyond expectation birthing more gangs fighting for turf they don’t even own  then masters bidding on the strongest slave in New York’s Wall Street area. Now we’ve manifested self-inflicted slavery and while Barack a humble giant, his own people are too proud to give  Barack Obama the glory he deserves.  We haven’t become better souls internally so  now we want to destroy the king America put on a dais before given this genius a chance to fix our nation. One man can’t do it alone. It takes the same number of people who voted for Barack Obama and thought the realization of their dreams of a black man in office could not be a frution to support, and not that race matters, but young children need to see their image and diverse images.

I had  to salute  Sotoamayer on a syndicated Latino site and soon warfare rumors of Rosie Perez  and J. Lo battling to tell her story surfaced like an untold lie to dampen the greatness of this woman to her folk as well as diverse communities.Winning the Nobel Peace Prize is not a byline, it’s a headline and global. It sends a powerful message . If I could give 10 million away like the Nobel Peace Prize I would, but I rather give back to the youth. I already know what President Barack Obama is cooking for our youth. He’s not only going to disarm nuclear weapons with tough sanctions, but he’s going to enable youth with the same dreams he had as a youth with his quote from inception of his journey,  ”Don’t Follow your dreams, Chase them!” – Barack Obama has made history. This is as big an honor as it gets. Even the Pulitzers can’t top a Nobel Peace Prize.  Maybe the YOUnity Guild Awards. Let’s see if voters turn out for Barack Obama on www.HeatherCovington.net. Let the countdown begin.

Bo Obama is here!

Given as a gift by Senator Kennedy, Bo Obama got approval from Sasha and Malia today as the white house dog. Bo is a full breed Portuguese Yorkshire and amazingly all black with white paws. The dog has been trained to keep its feet of the president’s shoes. The president’s wife, Michelle, is already thinking about placing a fence around her tomatoes. Let’s see how long Bo lasts. He looks really active and like he’s ready to get into a lot of trouble.

THE JOURNEY: PART I- Inauguration Pre-Celebration: January 20,2009-Martin Luther King National Holiday and Declared National Service Day

President-Elect Obama, Vice President –Elect Biden and their families arrived on the steps of Lincoln Memorial on Sunday, January 18, 2009 for a brief welcome event. The next day they were celebrated during “The Inauguration Eve Concert” at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. ABC NEWS and The Disney Chanel were granted carte blanche to cover the historic event.

People wondered who would perform and like a procession, the stars came out one –by-one for the most spectacular event of the year. Brace yourself as the most thorough historian on the net shares “THE JOURNEY!” America’s Boy of Hope, Bruce Springsteen, known for his classic hit, “Born in the U.S.A.,” started the celebration and set the tone for what would be one of the most historical weeks of the millennium next to Oprah launching a girl’s academy in the motherland of Africa. “We come together filled with optimism and hope as a nation and a people…. and on this day we are inspired by the 44th president of the United States of America, Barack Obama,” glorified actor Denzel Washington stated at the steps of our nation’s capital in Washington, D.C. His eyes gleamed with a teary gloss as the little boy who was inspired by America’s Boys and Girls Club, and went on to become one of the country’s most revered African-American male authors since Sidney Poitier, recited portions of Barack Obama’s acceptance speech as the presidential elect in Chicago.

The moment was riveting and powerful as 1.4 million people stood in the cold to listen carefully. For a moment, I thought if a movie were to highlight Barack Obama’s life, Denzel Washington and his wife, Pauletta, as Michelle Obama would be perfect for each role. Martin Luther King Jr. the Third shared the designation of his father’s birthday as National Service Day. Mary J. Blige performed her rendition of “Lean on Me” from the same entitled movie made popular by actor Morgan Freeman. The warm smiles and energy from the crowd warmed the event hosted in frigid teen weather with a unified aura signifying, CHANGE HAS COME!”

Steven Correll and Jamie Foxx reminisced Thomas Johnson’s famous quotes and Thurgood Marshall’s popular quote, “This is your country, Make it Protect it, Pass it On.” I got choked up with tears upon interviewing Camille Yarbrough who told me the same words, “Pass it On!” I promised I would not cry, but maintain my composure as a teacher who would have to face her children with dignity, pride and strength on the actual Inauguration Day, January 20, 2009. People watching the ceremony were reminded of President Barack Obama’s own words with humor from the former In Living Color tv show star turned actor and singing sensation, Jamie Foxx mentioned, “If there is anyone who feels that America is not a place where all things are possible, tonight is your answer.

Bettye LaVette and Bon Jovi made a rare duet appearance to sing my mama and late father’s favorite song, “A Change is Coming,” formerly sung by the late Sam Cooke. The crowd cheered and cheered once more as Tom Hanks appeared on the footsteps of America’s home to reinstate the message of President Abraham Lincoln, our 16th president, and accompanied by the riveting ensemble of a live orchestra. For a moment, Tom Hanks looked like Abraham Lincoln. The message of democracy was loud and clear as his classic statue sat in the middle of the building infrastructure with resounding strength and pride. James Taylor, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles, joined forces with the classic folk song, Shower Me With Love . The song was followed with ample applause by Vice President Joe Biden who beckoned the world to look at the glorious work of American hands representing the majesty, “Our Land”. John Mellancamp brought the house down and got folks up and clapping with a full choir.

Photos of everyday people graced the screen as “Ain’t that America” resounded in the crowds ears with joy! Queen Latifah reminded everyone of the struggles of Marian Anderson who was once rejected from singing on the opal streets of Washington D.C. It took clearance from Eleanor Roosevelt to give Marian the opportunity to sing in front of over 75,000 Americans. She sang God Bless America, now sung by all students around the country before they start their day paying homage to their country and instilling the meaning of patriotism, a quiet act often evidenced mostly with world devastation, such as the Katrina Hurricane travesty which tested American’s compassion. On this day, there were many families who pre-purchased their tickets for Inauguration Day back in early November 2007 and days before the world found out that Barack Obama had won the election, and with confidence that he would win. Families invited strangers with no place to stay within their homes in Washington.

People from around the world wanted to be a part of history. The freezing cold could not stop America. Josh Groban and Heather Headley, a very talented singer with a big voice with the grace of a younger Gladys Knight sang, My Country Tis of Thee! The ceremony became more enlivened as Will.I.AM and Sheryl Crow sang their rendition of “1 Love” accompanied by the piano accompaniment of Herbie Hancock, a classic musician of all time. Golf great, Tiger Woods, shared his dreams growing up and influence by his father as a man who dedicated his life to the military and his country. Messages from Barack Obama’s own novel, “Dreams of My Father,” clearly were reflected in Tiger Woods own reflections on how his father influenced his life.

Renee’ Fleming sang the most beautiful version of “Never Walk Alone” which I recall my high school music teacher, Dennis Bell, accompanying one of my fashion shows with a full choir who sang that song with the same love and compassion reminding us that the good in history often repeats itself. It’s a classic that I am sure struck a soft spot in all families with veterans in the military at home and abroad waiting to come home. The pre-inauguration event felt like a Hammerstein production and built up more anticipation for the big day. Jack Black and Rosario Dawson shared how former presidents like President Roosevelt stressed saving America’s sacred historical land sites and landscapes for children to visit and enjoy forever. It was incumbent for Garth Brooks to appear with his version of “ Bye, Bye Ms. American Pie”. President Barack Obama bopped his head off beat, but you could tell he knew the words.

As a product of a Kenyan born father and spending ample time as a youth in Honolulu, no one seemed to mind. Barack Obama then stood up on his feet as Garth returned his offbeat version of the Isley Brothers James, “Shout!” and a song called “We Shall Be Free!” It’s fair to say, Garth stole the show. Gotta Love Garth who said, “God bless America, God Bless the World, Love One Another!” Shelly Judd and Forest Whittaker reminded people that many artists from around the world have arrived to celebrate this day. Usher carried on the mission of the event with his rendition of Stevie Wonder’s Classic,” People,” along with Latin Music sensation Shakira and music accompaniment by Stevie Wonder himself.

It was a legendary performance that reminded folks of the Motown Era and a time period that unified music among many cultures. Samuel Jackson reminded America of Abraham’s Emancipation Proclamation and how his message influenced Rosa Parks who recognized that she had gathered the strength of her ancestors and courage to not move off the bus one day upon being asked to move to give up her seat to a white passenger. He went on to discuss Martin Luther King, Jr.’s era where everyday ordinary people came out to support his message. The hate, prejudice, bigotry, lynchings, racism and hate crimes of yesterday seem sheltered from youth’s ears today, but the pre-inaugural event reminded every American why it is so important for youth to know their history and struggle, for they won’t know how to handle tomorrow’s perils of hate toward more people for whatever reason without knowledge of Dr, Martin Luther King Jr.’s message of peace, and many will walk in harms way with trusting arms and become a subject of race related hate crimes for hate will never disappear. Better to understand the world, than be blind inside.

It was befitting for Bono to write a song in tribute to Dr, Martin Luther King called, “One Man, In the Name of Love,” and one of the biggest international stars to grace the official soundtrack of Barack Obama’s Inaugural Celebration Album. After Bon Jovi’s performance, “THAT MAN!” as McCain had slipped and thus, turned his own supporters away appeared. Barack Obama graced the stage with majestic applause followed by complete silence as tears filled the entire stretch of Washington’s capital. It was an unbelievable site to see the first African-American president don the steps of the capital. It was something like a miracle and a memory to be treasured forever as the Washington Memorial Monument stood tall and proud.

Barack Obama reminisced as far back as his ancestors and grandparents who toiled by foot to fight America’s battles. He mentioned that what gives him the greatest hope of all is “YOU,” the American People because you believe in this country. It is remarkable that just 2 years ago Barack Obama believed in change. It is as remarkable that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. predicted that There would be an African American president of the United States within 25 years. Today, President Elect Barack Obama vows to take every voice with him as he steps foot into the oval office to help CHANGE AMERICA for the better. It will take more than 1 term, but already I see that the true character of America, a great nation, has indeed come together and will be even brighter tomorrow when he takes his oath.

The pre-inaugural ceremony was adjourned with Bruce Springteen’s edition of “This Land is Made for You and Me!” President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and his daughters Sasha and Malia disappeared to begin the journey and prepare for the official Inauguration Ceremony to be broadcast nationwide on January 20,2009. I never got the name of the unsung hero who guided the crowd to the words of the next to last song with his banjo. Beyonce,’ however, ended the ceremony with her rendition of “America” sending overwhelming waves of pride from the crowd.

All of the guests of this star-studded event joined Beyonce’ who held every note and mentioned, “America we all won!” A beautiful and humbled statement for a singer looked up to by youth who earned her dream of becoming an icon in history on the shoulders of the Obama’s who were gracious to grant her wish sending a message to young girls everywhere like Malia and Sasha that they can achieve their dreams with hard work and dedication to their craft despite obstacles. The youth were able to relate.

Barack Obama, an official rock star himself, and the First Family shook hands with every guest performer as they have shook millions of hands across America. The pre-inaugural celebration was a success. Disilgold SOUL Magazine declares the week of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday as “BARACKAMERICA WEEK.”

January 21, 2009- Inauguration Day 2009

On January 21, 2009, I woke up bright and early with the mission in mind to become “An Ambassador of Change and Hope” as millions of American’s planned to do on this glorious day. Like my kindergarten students, I would be able to witness President Barack Obama, the first Black president, inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States. I was prepared to find a radio station that syndicated live footage since schools block live streaming feed until viewed for content. This was understandable.

However, my school was able to fill its auditorium with students to witness live coverage for a full day of events that began with a morning entourage of national news broadcasts on Capitol Hill from as early as 5am-7am. By 8am the gated opened for ticket bearing attendees and even those who scalped unused tickets at the last minute, “God bless America.” By 10:30am, we heard the sounds of the San Francisco Boys Chorus and San Francisco Girls Chorus.

Rick Warren, author of a Purpose Driven Life, recited the invocation after Senator Diane Feinstein Called to Order with Welcoming Remarks. And like a sweet songbird, Aretha Franklin sang, “My Country Tis’ of Thee.” Vice President-Elect Biden became the Vice President of the United States as soon as he was sworn into office, and yes his wife fumbled on the Oprah Winfrey Show and falsely stated that her husband was offered Secretary of State or Vice Presidency which was followed by Obama’s reps that indeed, Vice President Biden was solely considered for the vice presidency all along.

Music followed composed by Yo-Yo Ma, Gabriela Montero and Anthony McGill composed by John Williams and Itzhak Perlman. Like the hands of the clock at a ball, Barack Obama recited the Oath of Office sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Roberts who recited the wrong oath humbly corrected by Presidential Elect Barack Obama who by the words of the constitution if stated incorrectly could have been ground to forfeit his presidency later on. The official President Barack Obama did not break a sweat as his wife, a lawyer from Harvard as himself and many presidents smiled.

At 12:05, President Barack Obama delivered his inaugural address to America and around the word sending cheers as he spoke from his native homelands. The words he recited are no sacred and for those who watched on Dr. Elizabeth Alexander, only the 4th poet to recite a poem and 2nd black poet following in the steps of Dr. Maya Angelou, recited HERSTORY.

A benediction followed by the Reverend Dr. Joseph E. Lowery, who marched with Dr. martin Luther King, Jr. as heard just a day before on ABC NEWS proceeding a warm reminiscent message of change by Bronx City Council Woman Diane Foster. He had hoped to remember his speech as he cleverly changed what was a negative cliché into a positive one as the first sign of change. For a moment, it was clear that Barack Obama held his breath in hoping there would be no surprises as with his former pastor, Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

The ceremony ended with The National Anthem performed by “The United States Navy Band “Sea Chanbers” and hours of marching parades up and down Pennsylvania Avenue from the United States Capitol to the White House. I was in a nail salon watching the rest of the parade and getting my nails airbrushed with classic red, white and blue nail art before heading out to 1 of over 10 balls, when President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, surprisingly got out of their motorcade to greet millions of cheering people in the crowd that looked like one big family of unity.

You saw tears strum down White, Black, Latino, Asian faces and people of all nationalities. I closed my eyes as the parade marched on and reminisced over looking at each one of my kindergartner’s faces and letting them know I loved them all. The children got an opportunity of a lifetime to become Barack Obama on this day as each one stood in front of our makeshift podium and shared their speech of “Change for America,” proceeded with I AM BARACK OBAMA posters sealed in time with their own red, white and blue handprints.

I recalled how hard they worked on their “I Am Barack Obama Dolls and letters to Barack Obama which will arrive to the White House by Valentine’s Day 2008. There is much work to do as Barack Husseim Obama stated in his eloquent speech that surpassed the brief 15 minutes of the late Robert F. Kennedy. The weather was 27 degrees.  Edward Kennedy silently suffered a seizure post ceremony and had to be rushed to the hospital, reminding everyone just how precious life is each day and the incumbent responsibility of every America to get ready for THE JOURNEY which will take every hand with unity to help change America.

So much is upon us as we are reminded of the millions of Americans facing cancer like anchor woman Robin Roberts who bravely revealed her bought with the disease and today able to introduce The Neighborhood Ball headlined by artists like Wil. I. AM with his classic, “It’s a New Day,” Shakira, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx and Nick Cannon as the D.J. It was something like a fairytale when Beyonce’ appeared on stage to serenade President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama who danced to Etta James classic, AT LAST.

The Universal Hip Hopper, Jay Z. got America’s “Lighters Up” with same entitled song, Tomorrow, President Barack Obama takes office and people all around the world can agree with Barack Obama, “I Found a Dream!” ……“ And now it’s time to follow yours. For to lead is to follow and to follow is to lead, and to lead is to follow by example and that example is to live your dreams for the world to see!”- Heather Covington

www.disilgold.com-Will Barack Obama Win Last Remaining 4 Undecided States?

According to recent exit polls if Senator McCain does not win last 4 key states, Barack Obama could win the candidacy for presidency of the United States. As we are reporting this, Barack Obama just won Ohio.   And it’s official, he just won New York and Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  He  currently has 194 electoral votes. It’s getting closer as I am typing this announcement.  Barack Obama’s votes are over the top. With Virginia, Florida and New Mexico remaining it’s not over yet. There are still big battle ground states left. 270 Electoral votes are needed and even if America is lit up red on the news, It’s all about the electoral votes. If Barack Obama wins, he will appear in Chicago in front of over 1 milllion people with anticipated victory just building and building. Many African-American  leaders like Andrew Young are currently present and filled with tears. History is being made for what was the longest presidential campaign race ever!  It’s a good thing for all people. Hear my live commentary on www.disilgold.com after poll finals. Remember, we don’t know yet if Barack Obama is clearly the winner. Brace yourself! Anything can happen, but folks are already saying if barack Obama wins, they are going to celebrate by being a being a better person. Oh my, New Mexico is BarakaBAMA land. Okay, got to go. Soooo excited. God bless all! Running to see the big win!

Barack Obama: Making History

Book Review by Kam Williams

“Like millions of women across America, I wear so many hats, and play so many roles each day. I am a professional, wife, daughter, sister and best friend. But the role that I cherish the most is the role of Mom…

Above all else, I want my girls to be happy and healthy. They’re all I think about from the moment I wake up until I tuck them in at night. I want them to grow up in a world where they can dream and achieve without limits. If Malia or Sashaever decided o pursue a career in politics, I would support them and encourage them to follow their dreams.                                                                                                                                                                                                                           – Excerpted from interview with Michelle Obama (page 15)

With the country less than a month away from what’s promising to be an historic presidential election, what better way to mark that groundbreaking moment than with a limited edition commemorative not only filled with dozens of Obama family photos but revealing interviews with both Barack and Michelle?  That inspired idea occurred to publisher Rosalind “Bee” Harris, given that her hometown of Denver would be hosting the Democratic National Convention.

Bee’s brainchild is Barack Obama: Making History, a coffee table book edited by Tanya Ishikawa. Besides the aforementioned interviews, this informative opus contains a biography of Barack and an article about his meteoric rise. In addition, there’s a piece comparing the 1908 and 2008 Democratic Conventions, both of which were staged in Denver. And there’s a profile of Pastor Leah Daughtry (daughter of long-time NYC civil rights activist Reverend Herbert Daughtry) who served as CEO of the convention.

Its handsome cover features a stunningly realistic drawing of Obama by award-winning artist Jack Price, and the text begins

thereafter on page one with a touching tribute entitled, “Blessed Brother Barack” by poet Helen Littlejohn. Best of all, it’s for a good cause, provided you’re supporting the Senator from Illinois, since a portion of the proceeds of this cherished keepsake will be contributed directly to the Obama campaign.

ASK HEATHER: Did Barack Obama Deliver the Most Effective or Boring Speech of His Career ?

Barack Obama clearly defined his agenda for America tonight with a short and sweet speech minus the fire and  rock star appeal he’s been condemed for by Republicans, and left nayasayers with nothing to say but recognize, honor and respect the clear front runner for the presidential bid in less than 9 weeks.

A good man, he even recognized his opponent,  Senator John McCain. It takes a man with substance to acknowledge their opponent! His efforts earned an applause for McCain. You can expect for McCain to deliver boos from his crowd during the Republican presidential convention and out early congratulatory remarks wishing Barack Obama well to offset the damage he is about to do!  Stand by and realize that this is expected!

Sure the media will say tomorrow Barack Obama was boring and has no idea what he’s in for when McCain takes to the mic his turn around, but there was one pivotal moment when Barack Obama stepped into character and mentioned, we all have served and died for the blue, red and white for this country, but  bleed the same! WIth no mention on race at all this evening, he had made his point  for what may be the most  powerful speech of  his career that even a smear campaign in last minute desperation by the Republicans won’t be able to tarnish. Why? Keep reading!

Barack Obama could have continued with this energizing charge, but something in the next president of the United States clicked off and immediately switched on to presidential mode. America got a chance to see the real inner fire of Obama as a family man, representative of all working Americans and even the homeless with anything but  rockstar appeal.

I am not quite sure if people noticed Barack Obama step into the shoes of his job disregarding the race card at all. Barack Obama was the President of the United States tonight. He had nothing to prove this time around and got right to business. Folks had been waiting for this moment and were in shock when Barack Obama got out of his own way as Oprah has said is a good tip we all should follow, and delivered the most definitive speech of his campaign.

Instead of bringing the fire, fear and intimidation McCain has fueled on national airwaves with Barack Obama’s own words twisted and miconstrued in ads, he exposed the Bush Era as  over 28 years of  the same agenda  with  an approach I call ”oponent rhetoric role calling.”  It’s the most dangerous method of campaigning where you mention your opponent’s agenda, but those words are taken as your own.

It didn’t seem that Barack Obama cared if  his words were  pulled out of context  this time for McCain’s next batch of ads as he simmered his powerful speaking ability  in Denver, Colorado’s Football stadium where the substance of a man superceded style.

On this evening, he defined his plans so that even a little child listening could understand and like a teacher which are qualities I saw evident in Michelle who deserves more credit than given. Over 85,000 people stood up on their feet on the 45th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s speech. Visit www.MYFOXNY.com to see entire speech!

Barack also, didn’t soak up the crowd’s applause. He said thank you over 20 times at the beginning of his speech to begin speaking about his agenda, and instead of that quiet self-serving scaffolding of the room as celebrities do at concerts to absorb their greatness.

Barack Obama  was polite and never told the crowd to sit down although time ticked. You only have a few seconds to capture reluctant listeners and as well as supporters best attention. Barack Obama didn’t break a sweat. He was calm, collected and methodical, but with this sincerity you could tell  was going to deliver  as he got ready to announce his agenda as well as Vice Presidential candidate Biden. Folks in the crowd held their breath as well as listenres at home. This was it!

You could see Barack Obama’s character reveal itself from his patience, humility, controlled poise to stay focused and most of all begin his speech with the kind of gratitude  that was evident when he thanked Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton first in knowing that their respect of him as a candidate led folks to take Barack Obama more seriously.

They say you’re only as great as the people you honor as being instrumental in your journey to success. It takes giving up one’s ego to admit, but this ego wasn’t evident as Barack Obama spoke. American took snap shots in slow saccading motion in their minds clearly visualizing  Barack Obama in the oval office. Some tears streamed down white and black faces in the crowd because  millions of people had faith that there would be a great man like Barack Obama one day to lead the country for the sake of  youth in dire need of role models and many joining gangs and crime, violence and despair with consequences getting closer and deadly in surburbia’s  back yard. One person’s problem affects 1 million more.

While Barack did not emphasive inner cities break down with gangs running rampant, he clearly had a platform to speak  face-to- face to America, the country he says he loves  and by all means will protect with this Barack Agenda, one of the most detailed in over 20 years from a presidential candidate.

So what did Barack propose for change. I caught five, but maybe you caught more. I clearly heard Barack say he would give tax breaks to working class citizens. I heard Barack Obama say he would bring over 500,000 new jobs in America. I heard Barack Obama say he would stop having Americans send money to fuel jobs overseas that should fuel jobs right here in America. I heard Barack Obama clearly state that he would begin  global privatization of new energy resources in America to better the future of youth. I heard Barack Obama say he would focus on shelter for the homeless and health care. I heard Barack Obama say he would provide more money to schools to properly teach youth.

In my opinion, these are the main initiatives in America’s back yard and when a country gets their business together, no hate outside of the country can shut it down when it’s leading as a role model for all countries to gain better inner security within.

If we don’t care about ourselves than why should foreign countries care about us? It’s called pride and extends beyond color and hate. Barack Obama made a believer out of me and for months I had not announced my  full support for any candidate. I needed to hear Barack’s agenda which included me as a woman with ancestral history and pride who would not be taken for granted because we breed the same skin color.

Too many people of the same skin color knock each other down when put to the test at the most crucial times and show their jealousy, hate, insecurities and competitive mode when times are rough, one is depressed, angry and thinks you are well off regardless that you struggled to acquire your piece of the American Pie too.

I’m not quick to lean on the shoulder of my sister or brother because of race issues we’ve all experienced. I know what a dagger feels like in my back when a sister or brother is at one’s lowest point in life so they try to bring you down with them if you aren’t strong. Tonight I shed a few tears for Barack Obama and not because he’s black. I felt his pain he buried to be a better person and step into the shoes of his selfless greatness and moment which has been for the betterment of others.

I questioned why his disciples stabbed him one by one, and many great people in their own right, but inflicted with envy and a need to shine in Barack’s light and steal his glory with negativity. However, I am reminded that when Barack Obama takes office, he will have all of those negative forces to thank as well that fueled his passion and desire even more to defy all obstacles he would face on this journey to being the first African-American president.

HEATLIST COUNTDOWN- WEEK OF JUNE 9th- Lil Wayne, Barack Obama, Karrine Steffans, Dr. Ian Smith, Flavor Flav, Venehsa, George C. Fraser, Dennis Bell, Brad James, Solange, Dr. Alduann Tartt, Wendy Williams, Carol Simmons, Michael Strahan, Vivica A. Fox, Indiana Jones, African-American Pavilion, Literary Dish.com,

DISILGOLDSOUL MAGAZINE MULTI-INDUSTRY HEATLIST COUNTDOWN TOP BUZZ-www.disilgold.com

20- Lil Wayne sells over 450,000 cd’s. An impressive debut for week one. He should thank Karrine Steffans for putting him on the map  controversy wise and Quincy Jones for asking for his help on the next Music Awards Show. Other than that, he should thank himself for a precise image, raw talent, ridiculous presence that commands attention, a unique personality and those tats. He may outsell Kanye!

19- Barack Obama is the next Democratic candidate of the United States, but his camp recently leaked his VP list which doesn’t seem to welcome Hillary Clinton as his running mate. This may be a safe choice considering her backlash, but her supporters may vote for McCain in retaliation if she is not selected as a VP hopeful. Regardless, Barack needs to be careful. Scarlett Johansson leaked that she got a very friendly email from Obama. A sister wouldn’t do that. Obama was probably impressed with this actresses talent, but she just had to make it seem like there was a spark of interest. Michelle is not going to like this once she hears the news.

18- Karrine Steffans new Sex Manual may not do as well as anticipated due to American’s rejection of sex, period. Everyone’s abstaining lately, all pent up and in an effort to make it through their lifetime disease free.  It’s already been stated that 1 out of 4 New Yorkers have Herpes and unlike city workers who usually sign away for their medical records to be made public for basic healthcare coverage and bi-annual physicals, most folks in New York have self-employed jobs so we’ll never know. Karrine may need to  include STD prevention, but just in… condums don’t stop AIDS or HERPES and folks who have not been tested may be carriers. Ooops! Now what? Looks like a new chapter will be needed and if so, the girl has aced herself a great book. Just giving my MILLION DOLLAR SENSE!!!!

17- Dr. Ian Smith graces cover of JET MAGAZINE this month with my girl, Patti LaBelle. The doctor is moving up and he may reach his 50 million pound challenge for America sooner than he expected. Exercise and physical fitness are in the air this summer for most folks. I’m doing Pilates and I feel great, but sorry Dr. Ian Smith, I won’t give up my icecream binges.

JUST IN: We just got the 411 from Dr. Ian Smith himself and will stop eating junk food today, but you netter not say one word or I will never speak to you again. Word has it, he is not only in Jet, but in Ebony Magazine with a  new article everyone conscious about their health must read.

Dr. Ian says he’s written an article that features 5 individuals/families who we are following over the next 6 months to track their weight loss journeys.  He’s helping people make important behavioral changes in their efforts to regain control of their health. I joined his free www.50millionpounds.com and I am thinking of starting my own team at my job since folks always ask me how I stay in shape. I simply follow the advice of Dr. Ian Smith’s book, The Fat Smash Diet.  I recently gained about ten pounds for a fashion show I am in this summer, but I will follow the doc’s advice nd take those pounds off.

Dr. Ian Smith to date already has over  520,000 registered Challengers and more than 10,000 teams. His efforts are  changing and saving lives! Go there and start getting fit now. We predict Dr. Ian will have 1,000,000 registered folks by the end of  2010 and maybe sooner. I trust his advice! It works. Plain and simple!

16- Flavor Flav is one lucky man to turn his Public Enemy days into an empire. He’s like the great comeback kid. Now I need to re-watch his show. If I am not mistaken, someone with a hit book on the show is playing a trani, but the only problem is that she really looks like one. It took me a while to figure out that was indeed Kenya Moore. What happened to her? Someone tell me that I am not seeing things. I don’t like this role at all for her. That lady was a beauty. This role she’s playing is going to stigmatize her acting career and it’s only begun. Tsk, tsk, tsk. I guess any career is better than no career in acting.

15- Venesha is working on a classic follow-up to Mistress Me entitled NOTORIOUS!

14- George C. Fraser is America’s undisputed number one African American Networking Guru, but he’s in the lead for the number one motivational speaker next to Les Brown. I see severe competition. I would like to see these two in a ring match at the world’s largest seminar ever and battle it out because I am telling you, they could give each other a run for each other’s money. Les Brown has his way of letting you know that you are stuck on stupid with all humor, but folks look at him cross-eyed because he is always right. Then here comes George who just jolts you from sheer stupidity and you have no choice but to be a smart person. I am giggling away and getting smarter each day tuning into these motivational and networking gurus.

13-  Dennis Bell graces our Disilgold SOUL Magazine Spotlight this week and you want to know why? He’s a titan of music and can produce all genres of music which makes him Disilgold. He gave the muic world his take on music today and was very sincere. He tried to put himself int he box of a senior citizen, but I edited all of that out because once you’re old, you’re old. This guys music puts these modern day tracks with  loops and samples to shame. Plus, he does music scores and soundtracks, has a few platinum albums which is mighty impressive, is a real instrumentalist, teaches music and I think he can teach young cats about production and even team up with some artists for a movie soundtrack. Talent like Dennis Bell’s never goes out of style. Any day now he’s going to nab that partnership with a younger music mogul and don’t say I didn’t tell ya. Alrighty!

12-  Brad James- There is this  very focused actor just casually hanging out on MYSPACE and the ladies and even the guys buzzing about him as a role model in the acting biz  agree, Brad is the next Hollywood star on the rise. Besides awesome looks, he has real acting talent. We got an interiew with Brad James, but wait until we tell you about his new movie on DVD coming out this August called Champion Road. It’s like the movie of the year you have been waiting for. Is Brad James the next Black Bruce Lee? We think you already know the answer, but the fam at Disilgold is routing for him. He’s a real nice guy too. Ladies show Brad some love on his site. We think he’s on MYSPACE around the evenings, but then he’s off to film for weeks or months, so give him a shout out. The hours actors put in are tedious. We are putting up his profile pic for a week closer to the release of Champion Road.

11-  Solange- The same day I released my candid review of Solange’s new remake of her hit, I Decided, her management took it down which means that good folks listen well. It was just ridiculosu for right now and will fair well later, but the original with the 60′s feel sounds more original and professional, so I’m endorsing it. Now this is going to shock you, but if Solange can stay consistent with the over all feel of the album, chances are it might out sell Lil Wayne when it debuts because her sound is more universal. I feel bad I had to insult her, but I am not getting paid as a coach, so when I have a hunch someone is going the wrong way I am just going to sock it to them. And this too shall pass. I wouldn’t release a negative review unless I really knew someone with a flop had great potential hidden under poor writing, production or imagery. Now we have to work on her look, and so once I throw on my gear, all of the lady celebs will have to grab my styles quick. It’s a given that I’m on point. Former Fashon designer and fashion show producer fam! HOLLER!

10-Dr. Alduann Tartt (Motivational Speaker)- We found him fam, the next Dr. Phil. Oprah’s going to grab him fam if she’s smart This is just the man to counsel women with his new book, The Ring Factor. I should have asked Dr. Tartt, if a man gives you a 6000 ring on Christmas Day as a gift, can he later say it was an engagement ring when you break up and demand it back. HEHEHEHEHEHEEH! Falling over like drunk bride.

9- Wendy Williams- Okay, the news is official, but we heard it first. Wendy Williams is being sued for allegedly hiring a hitman to kill her husband. According to folks close to the camp, IT’ S FALSE NEWS and you are to disregard any media playing into these false rumors. Wendy Williams would never hire a hitman, she would kill Kevin herself. Read her book, Is the Bitch Dead! Giggles, leave Wendy alone folks. Don’t stop the queen from rising.

8- Sue Simmons, the news anchorwoman you’ve watched for years has not been fired from her job for saying, “What the f– are you doing?” on national television to the teleprompter guy. We predicted that there would not be a shakedown. In fact, she’s on at 6pm time slot instead with Chuck so she won’t have to drink those energy drinks to stay awake that the media irresponsibly lied and said she was tipsy with booze. Lying bastards.

7- Michael Strahan retired because he wanted to go out a winner, but most of all, football is a contact sport and one bad play could paralyze you for life. His teammates and otthers were very envious because he has personality. He’s only 36 and young so he can now enjoy his life. he gave 15 years and brought joy to the sport. He knew exactly what he was doing and most likely is not that chipper all of the time, but to make your mark, you’ve got to stand out from the crowd, Respect due to the guy with a gap in his mouth he made look fashionable. I hear some guys who had their gaps filled actually had the filling removed because Michael showed you could make it even with an irregular smile. Let me stop folks. I am really just kidding here, but one of his teammates needs a A-whooping for calling him a clown on television. You get asked a question about your peer on national television and you disgrace him like that. That shows jealousy and competition. People like that are not worth the shit on their friend’s shoes. Sorry about that Michael. You didn’t deserve that. Your retirement should have been glorious.

6- Vivica A. Fox- We hear from Turney Entertainment that this talented starlet has a reality show on the way where stylists have a shot at making her over the best for 100,000. Sounds like a winner, but I think there is already a show that debuted with the same theme. Regardless, why doesn’t Vivica have her own talk show? I even hear Robin Givens is coming back with a talk show, but she’s too proper and fragile. Hosting is tv show is not for lightweights. She was good inthe Vagina Monologues play though.

5- All Access Granted for Sex In The City here at Disilgold, so we’ll start by saying that Sarah Jessica Parker will win an Oscar for Best Leading Actress Role as Carrie Bradshaw, Kim Catthrall as Samantha Jones may win best supporting actress role  for the Sushi scene alone, but Jennifer Hudson as Louise could nab this honor as wlel or be a contender for Best supporting role. The chemistry was top notch between all of the actresses and I think the e-mail glitch foul up was very sentimental. Someone did their research and found a love letter by every renown writer. Hey, there is even one by Tekila Nika Jones, Jr. in the book, Tekila Nika by Babe Charisse Worthington.   BRILLIANT MOVIE THAT MADE ME WANT TO GO SHOPPING!

4- Indiana Jones – OKAY THE REAL REVIEW! ARE YOU READY!!!!!

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a magnificent come back for actor Harrison Ford who returns as Indian Jones in the classic movie  series produced by no other than, George Lucas who brought you the Star Wars Series.

A dusty road race fascinates movie goers with culminating fear as some teenagers joyride through the desert of Nevada side-by-side with what appears to be American military soldiers returning to their base. You anticipate that the grim-faced soldiers are dangerous, and even though they decide to rev up their gas and race with the happy-go-lucky kids in their hot shot jeep.

Just as soon as the thrill ride is over and the teenagers disappear down a different road, the American soldiers are denied access at their own base. An unexpected exhange of fire erupts  while simultaneously sending the naval base men down.  Harrison Ford appears with his dusty hat and name calls, “Russians!”

The question is now, “Why are the Russians here and what do they want?”  Harrison gets knocked around before finding out that  Colonel Dr. Irina Spalko is in search of some kind of skull that holds the truth about the future and could be utilized to control the world. Her demeanor is rigid, uptight and like a female commando who just won’t quit until she finds this  Crystal Skull.

Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones is a professor and expert archeologist who seems to know the missing truths as he convinces all of the Dr. Irina’s soldiers to somehow empty their gun powder to find the skull in some old cargos on a naval post confiscated from its ancient resting place in  Peru.

The magic begins as gun powder swoops through the air like a homemade whirlwind compass with the ability to find this skull with a strong magnetic force. Not only does Harrison as Indiana Jones, Jr. locate the skull, but reunites with his mistress from years ago who has a full grown son who you’ll never guess by who and is brought to the base as bait if Indiana doesn’t deliver.

Indiana doesn’t hestitate to steal the skull which leads to a golden ancient treasure and split it with his friend, but of course. money becomes the root of all evil when they are all caught while fleeing. There is a powerful scene where Indiana and his friend turn guns on the soldiers, but at the last moment you hear a click behind his head and it’s his deceptive friend who has set him up and joined forces with the evil doers.

Indiana and the other victims make a dash again and I must say,  Indiana Jones does not disappoint. The dash into a car and through the window on a motorcycle is why you buy Indiana Jones on DVD. The music soundtrack has highs and lows that rivet the theater with acoustic force. Your going to go mad insane while watching this movie with endless creativity that climax to ovation.

The beauty of the movie catapults when the skull is returned to its origination among some other intellectual forces like it making up a 13 ring pact of literal hot heads on a mission from outerspace, who came, saw, conquered and want to get as far away from planet earth as possbile. These terrestrial creatures disppappear somewhere between time, but leave a lot ot wonder about human life still searching for truth about outerspace. After viewing Indiana Jones, you may wish you had minded your business.

Harrison Ford looks damn good s 20 years senior his lead role.  Marian Ravenwood, played by Karen Allen possesses that magic smile that is why she had to return the role although a bit more mature looking then Harrison Ford due to make-up. You’ll discover a secret she kept from the robust Indiana Jones for years that was quite heartwarming up to the very end as  Harrison Ford’s classic hat flung through a door.

I have always been a fan of all George Lucas Films and why you see me as Babe Charisse Worthington with my Indiana Jones, Jr. Hat, but this time where in a new land called the ghetto with plenty of action and this new kid on the block called Tekila Nika Jones, Jr. Now will George Lucas direct his first urban film and go out a hero of HOLLYWOOD producers of all producers on the team giving direction? My mind thinks like George. It took a mastermind to make this film. George deserves all props for an overall, excellent film I recommend for the entire family.

Excellent plot, flow of story, visual and sound effects, props, change of pace, casting and direction. Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is a winner!
